What max devices i connect in a RS 485 port ? - In the Unitronics Manual ( Unitronics Devices and RS485 pg 3) say: "RS485 is a balanced serial interface for the transmission of digital data, which enables you to create a multi-drop network containing up to 32 devices, or nodes" In TIA/EIA-485 (RS-485) have information about unit load and other information about the max nodes. It is possible following some specified increase the number of nodes? (+ 32)?

Guys When i make a download that my project on PLC V130-33-T38, after the download finish the hmi show a message : " hold (i) for info mode. © Unitronics No app. After this, if i make a new download that same project - the program run perfectly. I try download the same program on two PLC 130 and occurred the same thing. If i download a blank projet, the program run fine and this problem don´t happen. I make tests change the values bauld rate (for serial connection) and download through ethernet. How is possible fix it ? In time, i use the Visilogic 9.3.1 Build 0, Windows 7. PLC ´s using firmware 03.004.25 (27/11/2011).

Mr Joe, Emil and Damian, thanks for response. My application is pulse counter. I use a V130-33-t38 , 8 modules IO-DI16 and 1 Ex-A1. Joe, the time is not critical. I calculate, max 2, 3 pulses per minute for each input. If i say, the code for one input have 20 lines. These lines, 11 are routines that will only be activated under specific conditions. If this happens, the main routine will 1242 lines with 138 sub with approx 9 lines each. These values are problem ?

Hi Guys I create a code with 25 lines. I need use the same code for more 138 inputs. Is possible use all codes in main routine ? - I try view the size off program but, visilogic show only in color´s bar. That accord of size show in bar´s color is possible. I don´t find a way for view size off program in Bit´s, Bit´s or other information. I use V130, Visilogic 9.3.1. Good weekend for all.

Hi For connect and view data on uniOPC server, the client (view) need support what version of OPC da (2 or 3) ? Is necessary programming in ladder specifics function for opc run ? On help in visilogic have a instruction: The socket 1 tcp Enables PC to PLC communication via UnCmDrv1.dll, including VisiLogic, Remote Access, and other Unitronics communication applications. Socket 2 port 2025x are used for all unitrinics program and socket 3 for program like scada. For use UniOPC what socket i need enable ? I read the .pdf intructions for install uniopc and I got these doubts. Thanks for yours attention

Hi Michael Maybe have another function writing in the vector that you select for the function (get mac address). The function (Mac to ASCII) write the Mac address in 09 address. For view in display the mac address, i create a variable: ASCII string and linking to vector that i specify in MAC to ASCII. I am a new user that unitronics produtcs. My apology if i dont´s help you.

Guys I think I was wrong the obvious. In the file .VLP must have functions specific for function the data transfer, because it the "own" program don´t start. When i said, i config only Card Init, Socket init, PLC name and an counter using SB 1sec pulse. If problem is that, what i need for making my "own advanced web server". I ask it because in example use more that 300 MI´s, maybe is possible reduce. Do you confirm my "suspicion" :-)? Have a great day

Hi I follow steps as described in pdf instrution (Enhanced Vision PLC WebServer 14/5/09), but the page that i create don´t start. If i download the vlp file from Web server example my page start. Basic i create in ladder : SB2 - Card Init - Plc Name - Socket init (01 - tcp-raw). In Card init i config IP for my network and gateway. The problem is not connectivity because the page work on vlp from example. It´s very strange. Any suggestions please? Thanks

Hi Mr (Mrs) Is possible i change (or replace) the format off values from a MI writed in a data table (data table example in attach) ? I have values starting in 0 until 990. In the data tables the values are writing (O, 10, 20,...100,....990). I need store in data table the values in format as like in display. On display is possible change the format (base format, leading zeroes) for show the values (001, 010,...020,...100,..110,...990). Is possible use this format (010, 020, 030...) in data table ? Hi Guys. I try use the function TCPIP - Send E-mail over ethernet but i have several problems. I use the Visilogic 9.3.0 Build 0 (Win 7), Vision 130-33-T38 (with ethernet module) and DSL router / 3g router. First i tried use the function on the example. Work sometimes with error in open socket. For open the socket i need restart PLC or disconnect the cable for router (i tested using Dsl router and 3g router). When working, some times the MI for status messages change to 13 or becomes in 1 and after many time the email don´t send. I tested also using the function "PING" and the smtp server responds fine. In the same instant i use other network the same server with other account and send email works fine. The server don´t use SSL for authenticating. I replace the MB4 and MB1 for SB 51 and SB 52 for turn on the function. I try too using the function with clock (direct clock function). Using this condiction(i replace SB´s for direct coil´s and direct contact) it was not possible send e-mail in any attempt (the socket don´t open). I need use the function for send file from SD Card. What happens ? I can send project if necessary. Good day for all.

Hi Mr Simon, Many Tanks for you prompt response. I tried use this function, but i could not add a the Count after the date value. Ex.: 18/08/2011 1 ; 18/08/2011 2, 18/08/2011 2. This counter i have in a MI. What function i can use for attach this count in ASCII values (from date). Is possible i attach the ASCII value for date and time to use in datasheet name ? Best Regards

Hi Guys I have a database and i will save it in SD-CARD. I need create a vector for use date (dd-mm-yy) in the datasheet. My application is a counter. If value is more than X the function save data table. After one cicle, the format for datasheet will (dd-mm-yy 1, dd-mm-yy 2, dd-mm-yy 3 ..........). I could not create a function for this function. I tried use load SI 32 (Store) to MI and also use function RTC to ASCII but i don´t find a function for convert this value to string or ascII - My doubt is also in this step. Thanks for attention.

Mr Stein Yair I talk with a saler off board, and they reply that is possible , upgranding a firmware change the bit if reed is off to O and if ON to 1. Who i use modbus inputs in ladder funcion, because with a IO-DI16 i select "positive transition contact (rise). For counter pulse using IO-DI16 i use only function "INC" and read in data table the MI relative to respective input. Each input of the modbus module use only MI ? - For project that i talk i use Vision 1040 with 38 modules modbus (16 input per module).
