  1. To clarify for those reading the post, the cloning application works only with a USB stick in the USB HOST slot. You cannot clone to or from an SD card in the microSD slot.
  2. Thank you for the response. Switching to a flash stick worked. Can I share a few annoying things about that answer? First, that topic was only recently added to the help. Unitronics did this on this platform before when they introduced it without proper timer support and magically fixed it later. When you guys fix things on the wish list for this platform and then stick them in un-documented updates, you make the users in the field look like idiots for not knowing simple stuff. Also, it makes it super hard to support a product if I have to tell my customers to update UniStream on their PC every time an issue comes up with their PLC. Secondly, not being able to support a clone or firmware update on an SD card makes the SD card somewhat of a useless necessity. I can't put a 100kB .pdf on the PLC without it, but can't use it for anything else the PLC can't do by e-mail. Lastly, after packing the PLC in an enclosure, it is 200% easier to swap an SD card than find a USB stick that will fit in the slot without removing EVERYTHING. I apologize that every time I'm on this forum, it's to complain about the system being annoyingly incomplete. I would like to be contributing more positively, but moving to UniStream has been like buying a new Ferrari and finding out halfway down the racetrack that the manufacturer decided the car didn't need a hand-brake because they needed to get it to market and the driver won't use the hand-brake most of the time anyway. It took me 1/2 the time to write the same program for Unistream as it did for the VisiLogic controller. I'm annoyed that any time savings is eaten up and then some having to come up with a work-around when I discover the features I relied on are not there.
  3. I have the same problem with 8GB and 32GB SD cards. Is there an explanation for the error? When I plug a new, formatted or un-formatted SD card, go directly to the export screen and I get the DOK error. I have not tried with a USB stick. Also interesting is that when I try to export the program from UniLogic to a USB device, I get an error with an 8GB card that there was insufficient space on the device. I re-tried with a 32GB card and was successful, however the resulting file was only 212kB in size.
  4. Has anyone seen a quick work-up on swapping the user application on the PLC using an SD card. The "Clone from SD" function in the VisiLogic information mode has been a life-saver in the past and I'm working on trying to create a clone SD card to send to a customer to upgrade their PLC.
  5. Cara, thanks for including the ability to attach .ulle's. Here is my exported ladder so far. Currently, it won't re-load a new game and the win routine is non-existent. Still, I wanted to illustrate the gameplay. I created the structs for the individual lights with integers to indicate the x and y data for the button. There is a simple rule for a general button press, but I haven't thought of a way to write it as ladder logic in a way that's easier than just writing out 25 lines of toggles. I'm keeping them around just in case I or someone else thinks of something clever. Also, I'm hoping to move the variables out of the global registry into the local register for the function. I probably won't get to look at this again until at least the weekend, but I'll be updating this thread as I go, Cheers! Lights Out Ladder.ulle Lights Out Ladder.ulle
  6. Hello, Probably a low-importance topic here, but I thought that those on here would get as much of a kick out of a project like this as I do. Here is the start for a version of "LIGHT'S OUT!" to be included as an Easter Egg in the diagnostic screens on a line of our machines. Game-play works well. Not finished is the win routine and the population for the table containing the initial puzzle states. In the 5x5 version of this puzzle, not all initial states are solvable, so I only wanted to include the winnable arrangements for the customer. (Check out the paper "Turning Lights Out with Linear Algebra" by Anderson and Feil for more info.) Any suggestions, shares or similar ventures would be appreciated. *NOTE* Went to post, and apparently the source is too big to fit and the forum rules won't let me post ladder exports. Any other place where people are sharing whole code for UniStream?
  7. I'm having the same issue with a Surface 3. Same issue, the PC I do work on is difficult to carry into to shop. Tried disabling driver signature enforcement. No dice. The link for re-installing the driver is dead. Is there a new link to download the driver?
  8. Was there any resolution on this? I am trying to get HMI screens to my boss for firmware approval and the "print screen" option is not a solution. Also, printing the ladder is a key debug step for most programmers. Not including this option seems like a serious oversight.
