LOL! Not at your application, at the reference!

Hi, sbeekman--were you able to upload what you wanted in the end? I see that in your final post you attached an application--was that it? Just want to make sure :-)
-
Ok--the app does open here. The developer says that there is likely an installation problem.
The fix is to swap the .lyt file. I've attached a clean one below.
HTH!

Hey, old senile dude...can't remember your name...
I sent the app to the appropriate support person. Will report back when she does.

I am hopeless at drawing but with the right software a seem to be able to make something presentable.
Presentable??!
Informative, esthetic, well-laid out, not crowded....They rock!!!

wow--Lukas, I'm sorry I missed this when it was posted (The beginning of October was part of the holiday cycle here in Unitronics-land)
VERY handsome screens, some of the nicest I've seen! Thanks for posting!
-
Wow! Nice project, nice displays. It looks like you took advantage of many of the V570's features.
Even the photographs are high quality
Thanks for sending them in!

Hi guys, I saw this and will check into it for you :-)

Hi Joe--I seem to have missed this one. Now that I've noted it, I will look into the issue--I don't know if the process will be changed, but I will make the Help clearer.
Thanks for letting us know--point taken :-).
-
Just to let you know that I have forwarded your comments to the relevant people. If there is anything to be done about this issue, I will report back :-)
-
Thanks, Damian I'll bump it over to Marketing. I do know that such things are in the hands of the local distributor...
I really appreciate the report of V570s being seen out in the wild
-
Damian dude--I didn't realize that was the problem.
You've got more space now. Some people don't ever upload anything, so really there is no reason why, in my capacity as Forum Goddess, that I can't grant you extra--squeaky wheel and all that
(now that is a smiley I don't get at all--wait does it mean I'm an invisible ninja? I'd be cool with that...I have about 10 hours of kitchen slog coming up..holidays start Sunday...I'm pretty sure that invisible ninjas are exempt from cooking)

Ok--I had someone look at the code.
Apparently, this comes up when the layout is called--it would seem that somehow it became corrupted.
We can't tell more without an application. If this happens again, please send the application you were trying to open when it crashed.
-
ok...not good.
I'll set the gears in motion on this one, thanks!
-
I know--it's a PITA. I can't do anything about it though--that's what the forum offers, and the image posting is pretty the same on other forums I use (maybe they all happen to be InVision forums...)
The default setting in the forum blocks.bmp for the reason you mention.
I have just allowed them--we'll see how it goes. If people upload eighty bazillion .bmps and choke my server, I'll have to reinstate their outlaw status.
-
Hey Damian :-)
I will submit this issue and report back, thanks.

I find myself doing the same thing while fishing.
Fishing is an exact science, though--you can't compare the two

I have enough gray hair to remember DOS and the concepts of "TSR" and "HIMEM".
Heh. I amaze my kids by opening up the little DOS window while troubleshooting...and actually typing in commands.
-
Very cool! thanks for sending this in
-
...yes, I know it is one of our topmost requests.
At present, the best we can offer is to use subroutines with Data Tables...I know.
I hope that I will be able to give some news about the simulator in the future.
And I will pass your comments about resolution along (sorry for the long lag...August!)
-
Good idea! Thanks--I will pass this along to the developers.

Hi :-)
Well, I can give you half of this one :-/
>-Ability to open more than one project at a time and directly copy and paste between projects.

How can I have multiple instances of VisiLogic running at a single time?
To have multiple instances of VisiLogic:
1.Copy the folder "Unitronics VisiLogic_C" from "C:\Program Files\Unitronics"
2.Paste that copied folder somewhere else on your hard drive.
3.You can then open up the file "VisiLogic.exe" from "Unitronics VisiLogic_C\Main"
inside each separately pasted folders.
(The typical limitation is that only a single "VisiLogic.exe"
can be opened at a time, but having a copied folder "tricks" and allows this)
This will also let you, of course, look at a copy of the same app, and view both the HMI and Ladder app.
I haven't heard of plans for a 5.7" format PLC with a 640x480 screen resolution, but I will check.
If I have news about the other issues, I will share it :-)
-
Thanks--I'll pass your request to the hardware team

I believe you are looking for Splash Screen:
Shaft Encoder (X2) counting issues

Looking into it...will let you know why, why not, and if it can be offered as an option.
