  1. DOH! So originally I had tried the Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C and it did not work. I have a bad habit of closing down VisiLogic when switching to a different program, so the "clipboard" data is lost as well..... Problem solved by leaving VisiLogic open and switching programs.
  2. Hello, I am trying to port a complete V430-J-R34 program to a Samba Series SM43-J-R20. I have the Main Module, subroutines, string libraries and recipes all transferred over via the appropriate Import/Export functions. What I am having trouble with is transferring/copying all the HMI Displays. Changing the Hardware Configuration and keeping the program is not allowed between different models. Is it possible to somehow manually transfer/copy the displays across models? We have 2 similar programs. The default V430 program includes a couple more outputs than what the Samba could provide. I have removed the outputs that were deemed unnecessary in order to use it on a Samba.

    UL Type Environmental Rating

Just a heads up. This issue did finalize as a UL Variance. Unless the product documentation clearly states a "UL Type" rating, the enclosure it is mounted through can only be rated a UL Type 1. So until the HMI documentation is updated, if anyone is using a panel/door mount HMI and is needing an enclosure to be certified UL Type higher than 1 it cannot be done. NEMA ratings and IP ratings will be okay, just not UL.

    UL Type Environmental Rating

I assumed it was going to have the be de-rated. Unfortunate, but not unexpected. Many times we had to show a dual rating (UL and NEMA) on our enclosure nameplates at CTA. I may start doing that here as well.
  5. After searching through the Technical Support links I am still left without an answer to the issue below. Is there any documentation that tells what "UL Type" Environmental Rating the HMIs have? In my case I am looking for the UL rating of a panel/door mounted SAMBA Series SM43-J-R20. All documentation I have seen shows a NEMA4X/IP66/IP65 (when panel mounted). Apparently this is not sufficient for my UL rep. He is looking for the "UL Type" rating, not NEMA or IP since they do not correlate. If this info cannot be found I will have to rate my panels as a UL Type 1 and redesign to meet the necessary UL Type 12. Thank you in advance for any info.
