[Calibrated touchscreen, stuck in "Bootstrap"]

In that boot screen mode what it shows like Status : Idle / No application / something else.

Because Ifthere is no application that time also boot screen pop ups.

Download your application once again if it is the status.

otherwise,

If it communicates with the visilogic software, try that initialize & reset option. It may work.

[V350 Hangs... ?!]

I am using V350-35-T2 PLC.

Things I Did:

Go to infomode --> entered password

--> Entered into infomode --> chose working mode tab --> Chose exit to boot --> checked the parameters and versions

Then to return to OS again

--> pressed the screen to go to info mode --> and while entering the password it hangs and remain stand still.

To make it work again i have to power OFF the PLC and ON. So that it comes to OS mode.

I have reinstalled the OS/ boot. But the problem doesn't seems to be rectified.

Doubts:

Why is it happening? (have anyone faced this before)

As I didn't face this problem before, I don't know whether it is a problem or not.

Does it cause any other issues in future? (like application lose, Memory content holding etc.,)

Not sure if this is what you are looking for but here are some of the icons I've cleaned up and use on our 570's. I basically took them into photoshop and instead of having a cutout I used the background color to make a sort of square image. That way the icon will look sharp and you won't see any pixels in the background color. The only problem I've ran into is that you have to use whatever backgrounds visilogic has and match it to your icons so that they blend right.

A couple more suggestions:

Read an online article about web page style design, lots of good tips there. And Tahoma font is your friend - studies show it's the most legible font on a screen, espescially at smaller sizes,

I am using segoe UI for small fonts. from now "Tahoma is the new segoe UI"

[Compilation error visilogic 9.4.0]

I can offer at least a partial solution, that will allow you to compile and run the application.

In each keypad entry variable, un-check and then re-check the Keypad entry checkbox. This will clear the limits back to zero on both upper and lower limit values. Keypad entry will work, but you will need to apply validation in the ladder.

As to why this issue has arisen, that is a question for the creators.

also is there any trick to make the decimals user definable.(x.xxxxx) As it consumes more space in V350.

[Compilation error visilogic 9.4.0]

I have created a program in visilogic9.3.0 and now i updated it with 9.4.0. As 9.4.0 doesn't allow to give min and max value for mf in the keypad entry tab it shows many errors. how can i overcome this one.? send some suggesstion...

I have done my project in 9.3.0 before. For MF values give the min and max values through the HMI tab itself and that doesn't show any compilation errors.

After I download and use 9.4.0 I couldn't set the value which causes so many compilation errors. How could I rectify that.

(removing all set values and do it by means of ladder...?).

You can import you own images according the following formats:

BMP, JPG and EMF.

Also, you can easily create images by using "Adobe FreeHand/illustrator" graphics software.

For example you can import one of our images>Edit to the desire shape with the same dimensions>Export to EMF file.

You can always review the related information in VisiLogic help menu> Home > Getting Started > HMI Display Editor

But I think you are not answered my question may be my english is a bit low or may be i am not understanding.

See my attached image the circlic image's edges are not smooth. you also send me some squre type images only. for flat edges no problem. the problem is with curvy edges only. It may because both V570 and V350 has the same pixels 320 x 240. V570 just zoom-in the V350 HMI.

May I force V1040 OS into V570. What may be the effect.? does it cause any bad? .

Hi all,

I am using v570 plc, and want to enhance the hmi design, I have tried using the pictures in visilogic image library and it is somewhat pixlating(edges of a curve not smooth). As well the letters are also not sharp. So I decided to design it in Adobe photoshop and download as an image. But that too not upto the standard.

Could you give any tips or tricks to do that so.

That was nice one. As i am new to such HMI design iam eager to know how did you did this. Because when i put a simple circle, itself pixelating. But how did you make this flash screen looks is there any software are you designed it in photoshop and add it. I have done that also but that too had the pixeleting effect.

Have you checked that snap in module is properly attached? I have seen before where one corner doesn't get fully "clicked in"

How about the inputs on the module...are they working?

Is the correct module configured in the hardware configuration?

Inputs are working fine only.... The problem is with output only...

Double-check the spec sheet on the -E4XB. You have to apply power to several places.

I have downloaded my application and checked it through info-mode and also through online, both give my logic is correct.

but I didn't get the output in the terminals. i have checked the wiring also.
