To use Modbus TCP with unitronics is very easy. With siemens the problem i a little more big. You must to buy cp341-1 and his driver (modbus). Total cost 1500 euro. I have performed this application some years ago and it si not very easy! I advise you to buy a Operator Panel ( i use sitek) that work as bridge. You spend 400 euro and it is very very very easy! Hi, maybe this question is a little bit off-topic. I'm happy is someone answer me. i have a rs485 net, where V280 is the master and there is 10 slave. My question is: V280 perform a query to the slave 1.Then it wait the response for perform a new query OR the master(V280) can do more than 1 query and then manage the responses? i've started from unitronics example to send email from V570. But i use a V350. Program seems to work fine. Connect to ethernet card, and when i try to send mail the FB email MI status say: "success". But mail no arrive! Have you advice? Fabio

I have tested the Damian's advice. The system work fine but only in low speed. (about 500 pulse for minute). When i go in hight speed, i lose some pulse, i don't see light up of the led in input card! Now if i have 20 pulse for minute there is NO problem also for a normal input, because the response time is 10ms on all inputs: 1000ms / 20pulse = 1 pulse every 50ms. But the problem is: how long a pulse when the wheel run in hight speed? About 0,1mS. This time is the problem. If i have set the input as HSC i have Minimum pulse width = 80µs. For a normal input i don't know!!! I have contact unitronics support that advice me to use Immediate Read Physical Input. In this moment i can not try because i'm far from the plant, but i think that also this solution NO solve problem because Immediate Read Physical Input function is called every plc scan....about 2 ms. What is your opinion? Is there other way?

Hi Emil, you are right, in fact you must know that in the last year i've performed some tens pid with unitronics plc and i have not ever used reset integral error. With the current job, second my opinion, there is the possibility to fall in this problem. So i think that may need to use, so i'm informing on how to use this feature. That's all.
