I have a medium sized program that runs without problems on its own. I was requested to have a video play on the HMI as a sort of screensaver. I added this by using a default bit in UniLogic called "General.Touched Bit" that goes high when the screen is touched. I used this to reset a 1 minute timer (see picture 1), this way the timer would reset back to 1 minute countdown every time the screen was touched. When the timer runs out a bit i named "Run Video" goes high which i then use in "Actions" to load a screen named Video (see picture 2 and 3). This screen consists of 2 elements. The video element taking up the full screen size and an invisible button over it. The video settings can be seen in picture 4. The button is used just to load last screen. This when tested works just as requested except if the video has been running for a while the whole HMI freezes. The PLC functions remain and the other processes still work, but the HMI is unusable until a forced reset by power loss is done. My setup can be seen in picture 5 and my HMI is the Unistream 7" Modular. If anyone knows what causes the HMI freeze when playing video a reply is much appreciated. I have considered the HMI heating up being the problem, but doesn't seem to be the case.

Is there a way to select different style keyboards. i.e. I want to enter a numeric only password, but am offered the full Qwerty keyboard. Is there no "numpad" to chose for this?

Hi, I've just upgraded to UniLogic 1.29.111, and I've noticed I can't change the size or position of HMI elements with the mouse or properties editor. I can move them with the cursor keys, but that's all. Also, the "Arrange HMI elements" buttons stay grayed out when multiple HMI elements are selected. Is this an issue with this version of UniLogic? Anything else it could be? It's a fairly large, complicated project that's just been updated from 1.18.60. Sandy

Hi everyone ! Currently, I use a Unistream PLC Built-in 5", the US5-B10-B1 and it's very nice to use ! However I have a question. I'm currently programming the alarms and i'd like to use the built-in alarms on Unilogic, but all the interface are in english even though the software is in French. Before creating this topic, i searched and found something but on Visilogic. Apparently, we can translate the text in the source files but I don't know where it is... Here the topic : It is posible on Unilogic to change the language of the alarms display ? Thanks !

Dear all, Up until now my system has been running fine. Today the date went out. The callander shows the correct day, year time etc but in the numbers its showing incorrectly. So today is sat and its showing 1. I thought sat was 7? Sunday should be 1, monday 2 and so on. Its been fine up until now. Ive reset, reloaded and tried every thing i can think of. Its a UniStream7. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Steve UPDATE Further investigation shows that day 7 just isn't there. It goes from 6 on friday, stays with day 6 on sat now, and then goes to 1 on sunday, but then moving forward on the date to next week the same thing happens, no day 7 ????

Currently it is too hard if you have to change multiple object colors on HMI. I had 20+ Numeric Box and Fixed Text objects on screen and customer says they want to change entire color scheme similar for their brand colors. I didn't find any easy way to automate things so it is 20 clicks and button presses for each element color and I didn't had only one page. Maybe Copy/Paste drop down for color elements on the Properties Window ?? -
My requirement is to connect & operate 6 HMI individually (Without mirroring) with PLC and the 6 HMI screens should view from computer remotely. I Hope to do it with Mqtt protocol or via Modbus. Please can someone help me to try this cos I have done only one project using Unistream PLC with Mqtt protocol previously. Please see the attached draft design of the project.

When connected remotely through VNC, if someone is standing at the HMI they can easily see passwords as they are being entered. The button presses appear as the keys are pressed remotely. Many times when I connect remotely is to troubleshoot and there is normally an operator looking on locally. Is there any setting available to disable the key presses when connected remotely? Am I missing something, or is there no option for "Leading Spaces" with UniLogic numeric elements?

Is there a way to group HMI elements together for copying, moving, keeping respective locations, etc.? Most programs have "Group" and "Ungroup" buttons...I haven't been able to find this feature in UniLogic.

Hello friends. I am using a USC B5 TA30. This PLC is communicating with 4 frequency inverters in RS485. I managed to establish communication but it is very unstable, the problems are as follows: -It does not update in real time, it takes a few seconds because I need to be updating the routine call manually; -All the inverters are configured correctly and work individually just by changing the cable between them, but when I connect them all there is no command of two or more (each with their own address); Some data that may be relevant: -All equipment is functional; -They are Toshiba inverters of the VSF15 and VF-FS1 lines; -The distance between the components is small and I'm working with 9600 Baud Rate, Parity None, Stop Bits 8; I think the problem is in some configuration in the call of routines related to time or ModBus configuration of the UAC-CB-01RS4 cards, the RX / TX LEDs are blinking and very fast as usual in OK communication. I already have an HMI in the same communication working on the other UAC-CB-01RS4 card, it also has a little bit of instability, but it reads and writes the data on the PLC. can anybody help me? Hello, I am using a Variable: Range of Images to display the output status of a heat controller. The output status is determined by the LEDs of the heat controller display.The heat controller provides the LED statuses in a byte which I convert to bits using the Vector Number to Bits to view the bit status of the 2 relay outputs and the alarm. Then I convert those three bits back to a number using Vector Bits to Number. The first bit is the Alarm the second bit is Output 2 and the third bit is Output 1. So for the Variable: Range of Images I have the alarm image set for the constant value from 1 to 1. From 2 to 2 I have an image to represent cooling. From 3 to 3 I have an image to represent an over-temp state (alarm and cooling). From 4 to 4 I have an image to represent heating. From 5 to 5 I have an image to represent under-temp (alarm and heating). The MI output from the Vector Bits to Number is exactly as I would expect it to be and the Variable: Range of Images displays the correct image but instead of replacing the image previously displayed, the new status image is superimposed on top of the other image. How can I address this superimposition?

I am working on an application where I would like to show 4 indicator lights on the screen and use them to direct the operator through the process. I know how to use my MB along with SB3 to toggle another MB for on/off control , but this does not address the change in color. I also did the List of Images:Pointer and this works good for the color change, but only with the indicator always on. Is there any way to use the pointer and store direct functions for color/image, but still incorporate the SB3 when I want it to blink? Thank you, Dale

Hi, I have been working with Unistream for a couple of months, and I can say that is a Interesting and competitive platform, but now I am stuck with something, the PLC don´t recognized the DOK, any DOK (2GB,4GB,8GB,16GB), I can’t Upgrade the PLC (It is necessary to use Unilogic 1.5). I tried to export the application to the DOK and there is an error, the DOK is not mounted. The DOK is formatted (FAT32) and empty, I tried with different CPU, with different DOK´s, but it dont works.The HMI don't recognized the DOK. Any Idea About That?. Hi all, asking if we could possibly have SD Card Explorer remember the previous location for local file saving. I store my logged data files to a particularly "deep" area of my folders, and it's a right pain in the butt to start from scratch each time at the Browse for Folders window and have to click your way to the relevant area before you can proceed. click click scroll click scroll click scroll click scroll click ohh for pete's sake! I know I could cut and paste from a simpler spot, but that's not the point. cheers, Aus

Hi. Is it possible to convert an HMI screen to a web page? I want to have a web page that looks exactly like the HMI page, minus the controls. It would be nice if I didn't have to create everything from scratch.

I have a customer that is upgrading from Vision to Unistream and adding several more processes to the system. The customer also wants a 30 – 40 inch touch screen. Any suggestions out there? My first thought was a smart touch TV with an Internet Browser and use the web server. The next thought was maybe a stick computer and touch screen TV and use VNC. Open to any input about the proper way to go about this? Thanks
