  1. How can I change the same parameter when I have marked more than 1 element? For example I would like to change decimal point location at 3 numeric boxs on the same location. Is it possible or I have to do it one by one? Thank you in advance.
  2. Hi all, Question: Is it possible to turn the backlight completely OFF in Unilogic by ladder? If I try to control the brightness by ladder; Actions - > "Change Brightness" and link a UINTThe help-file states: So this seems to be normal behavior. But if I use Uniapps -> Display & Audio; Sliding the brightness-slider to zero, does turn the display completely off!According to Version Changes, this is the case since Unilogic 1.8.51, Unistream OS 1.8.9, October 2014 Nevertheless, it would be ideal (for me and others too I think ) if we could get complete control over the back
  3. If I create a password field in a HMI display, it doesn't update the tag when I input my password. It stays empty. I now solved it with creating a text entry in the HMI display and let it disappear once the password is entered. A working password field would be prefered instead of this work a round. Thanks Maurice
  4. I have been using under Visilogic the feature to "Hide" and "Marking" screen buttons. Like this I could hide the button, if its function should not be active (not only disabled, but really "gone") - display it again, when its usage was alllowed and even use the "marked" button as feedback, if for example its initiated function was active. 1 button - 3 functions. In Unilogic I am now at the point to use binary image elements, but I am only managing to get one of the two functions implemented at once: hiding the button using two images (one blank images), but then without the marking
  5. Using a V350. Quick scenario: F1 jumps to HMI 100 F2 jumps to HMI 101 F3 jumps to HMI 102 F4 jumps to HMI 103 ESC jumps to previous screen/HMI You are the user. You are viewing HMI 5. You press F1 and go to HMI 100. You press F2 and go to HMI 101. You press F3 and go to HMI 102. Now from here, I want pressing ESC and go back to HMI 5. I want HMI 100, 101, 102 and 103 to be completely ignored in the screen load order list. How do I go about doing this?

  7. Hi two questions and suggestions regarding Trend HMI element: 1) I would like the user to be able to change the X axis time frame, but the property window is not allowing to enter a Tag, but only a constant time frame value. any idea how to walk around this limitation? I found that y axis minimum and maximum values can be changed dynamically by defining a tag within Trend curve List configuration. why cant i do it for X axis too? I did consider using XY trend instead, but then the X variable cannot be displayed as time format. I would like to suggest that this parameter will
  8. Hello, I am new on unilogic and I have a quick question to you. Is it possible to change properties of HMI elements, like button's background fill color or size or other , in the ladder. Some function or bloc,or maybe with a script ?(script exist in Unilogic?) Thank you for your time. I hope my english is not too bad Your software is very friendly user and powerful. it pleasant to prog with
  9. I am from Mexico, I hope you could understand what I wrote. I Have a PLC+HMI Unistream 7". I plug in the PLC to HMI and connect the HMI to Power supply, afterwards, screen "initializing" appears and remainds on that screen, kept for hours. I have checked my wirings, PLC and the HMI mutiple times and i sure it´s all in right. I can´t acces to UniApps and upgrade the firmware. The connection PC-PLC is succesful, but the PLC needs upgrade firmware. I hope you can help me. Thank you
  10. I haven't been able to find a good answer to this in the documentation or through the forum search. If I'm using an HMI screen to run a subroutine as 'While Display,' will the '! Main Subroutine' still scan every cycle or does the 'While Display' take precedence and skip '! Main' at that point? Much appreciated.
  11. Hello, I've got a sreen filled with Numeric Boxes that make up a table to use for parameters. I noticed that you have "$_title" in the Keyboard Title, and you can set your own title, but is it possible to make this title variable? The columns are shifted from side to side depending on a variable, and I'd like to add a text that says something like "Column %Column_Number%, Rotation Speed" If you're wondering how the columns are set up: 4 On-Screen Columns 17 On-Screen Rows 20 Off-screen Columns 17 Off-screen Rows Thanks, Exouxas
  12. Hi I have a question about ladder programming (in visilogic): MI1 is coming from a keypad entry, the value range is 0-100. MI2 is coming from an analog input, and is already scaled to the range 0-100. How can i force MI1 to #0 if MI2<20. The MI1 should not be changable by the keypad when MI2<20. Sorry for such a easy and maby silly question. -- IanM
  13. This is more of a hardware question, but it seems like they took the unistream hardware forum down...or I can't find it. Anyways, I've purchased one of the 15.6" Unistream PLC+HMI's and will meet it at the training seminar in Texas. My chief concern is the 15.6" Unistream's operating temperature is only rated down to 32 degrees F where as the 7" and 10.4" models are good down to -4 degrees F. Is this something that will be upgraded in the future? Or is there something about the 15.6" screen that limits its cold temperature rating? Can I pay extra to get cold temp components ins
  14. The award-winning Vision controller series welcomes its newest member—the Vision430™. The beautiful, wide 4.3" built-in color touchscreen brings added value to any application that requires a compact PLC controller with onboard I/Os. The touchscreen and five function keys are housed in a flat fascia with an IP66/IP65/NEMA4X rating—a fine fit for the food and pharmaceutical industries. Each Vision430™model offers a unique onboard I/O configuration that can include digital, high-speed, and analog I/Os, including PT100/Thermocouple and weight/pressure measurement. Expansion modules enable local
  15. Anyone know if the Unistream platform would be capable of handling up to 32 analog inputs and 36+ digital outputs? This would be controlled via RS485 through a banner serial radio (link below). The master radio (wired to the unistream) would have 4 or 5 slave radios wired rs485 to 4 or 5 remote i/o devices (red lion i/o link below). http://www.bannerengineering.com/en-US/wireless/surecross_web_multihop http://www.redlion.net/product/ethertrak-2-io-module-32-mixed-inputsoutputs I'm not looking for super fast speeds but it needs to be dependable. There will be no analog output
  16. Hello, I'm currently trying to make a PLC program and HMI interface with UniLogic. The problems I've faced so far: Is it possible to set a default colour for buttons and backgrounds? Say for example you make a new screen, it's set to light blue, when I'd like it to be a different colour. And the default colour for buttons is darker blue when it'd be great to be able to set the default colour yourself. Or if you could set your own colour palette (for example replace the dark blue with dark green, and light blue with light green). The "border thickness" of buttons doesn't work w
  17. I need to come up with a panel design that use a Unistream HMI but can be used in a hazardous area. The Area could be C1 or C2 and D1 or D2. Since the Unistream HMI is only rated for use in a NEMA 4/4X area, I would need to put a window over the HMI. The problem then is that the operator cannot touch the screen. I need to find a way to select items on teh screen without touching the screen. I am hoping that there is a way I could use a joystick or mouse to be able to control a cursor on the screen and then click where needed. Is there a way to do this? If not, are there any plans to impliment
  18. Do you guys ever thought about the idea of a portable handheld model that will support only local and remote I/O (No I/O on board)? There are applications where freedom of movement is required. An example is the following: http://en.kinco.cn/productById?kind=1&id=88 It would be great to see something like this in the future!
  19. Anyone have some example programs of some animations. I would love to show moving flow in some pipes on the HMI
  20. Hello, I want dynamic text to buttons, listbox or combobox. How do I do that?. Jan Martijn
  21. Samba™ is an all-in-one palm-sized HMI + PLC + onboard I/Os. As a trendsetter in the field of all-in-one PLC + HMI integrated controllers, Unitronics has specifically developed Samba for applications that require PLC control, but that are limited by budget to simple text displays. System integrators and OEMs often develop applications that require PLC control, but that settle on simple text displays due to limited budget. Samba's beautiful HMI 3.5” QVGA 16-bit touchscreen enables data entry and display of variable data, including color Trend graphs and alarm screens. The HMI supports 24 us
  22. Hi Experts I am new to Unitronics (started to work on it this Monday) and I am pretty impressed by its capabilities. I wonder if somebody could advise me if its possible to send text values through SMS and display it on Vision 230 OPLC. So far I could transfer numeric values but passing strings would be very helpful as well. Please help.
  23. Hello, I want to use in my application controller HMI touch panel UniStream. I want to measure the three analog values, and visualize it on a graph. I want to connect the printer to panel. Can I print these trends? What functions to use to print my trends? Marcin
  24. Hi all, I've been spending almost one day looking how I could compare to ASCII strings without success unfortunately. The idea is to compare a string from the HMI (username) with a String inside a user account data table loaded into a struct row after row. This is just to be able to make a kind of login function with user and password protection. Guillaume
  25. Hi all! We have string data types available now, and a whole category of ladder stuff for searching and manipulating them, never the less, I cannot find any way to display a string on the HMI (analog to the ASCII String variable in VisiLogic). Where is this hide? Is there a way to invoke a variable within a fixed (or other) text object?
