  1. Hello all, I have an application in which I need to control six different stepper motors. I also need about 16 each DI and DO. Can anyone suggest a hardware combination that will work well and be the most economical? I would like to use the Vision series controller, preferably the 570, but I am open for other suggestions.   2. Hello All, I apologize for the VERY basic questions I am about to ask but I am new to using a PLC to control a stepper motor. I have the drive and motor. I read the information included in Visilogic. I am still confused. I hate to ask but can someone please provide me with basic program to control the stepper drive. I want to provide an RPM and FWD/REV bit. I will answer any questions and will be monitoring this thread constantly over the next few days. Thank you in advance. Again, I apologize for such basic information but once I have a decent example I should be able to pick it apart and understand things.

Hi guys, I'm thinking of buying the following 3-axis stepper motor kit from ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/US-Free-ship-3-axis-425oz-in-Nema23-stepper-motor-112mm-matched-driver-CNC-Kit-/251235147807?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a7ec8201f I will not use the breakout board included in the kit but i wil use a Unitronics V350-35-TR34 instead. My application requires simple, not very accurate positioning of 3 axes. My questions are the following: The driver accepts pulses of 5VDC while the PLC HSO is 24VDC. How can i convert the high frequency pulse to 5VDC? Also the Pulses are NPN type. Is this a problem for the driver? Thanks in advance
  4. Dear all, I have an application of cutting machine. I am using M91-2-T1 to control the rollers synced with micro stepping motor for feeding the probe. The Stepping is controlled by PWM output as well as the feedback is given to the HSI to stop HSO after reaching the exact preset value. The probe should be cut at 20mm,40mm & 100mm lengths with +/- 1mm. But sometimes the tolerance value comes -2 to + 4. How could I attain the expected tolerance value(+/-1mm)? Is there any programming trick to reduce the scan time? Thanks in advance.
