Hi guys, Yesterday i had a phone call from a customer telling me that he cannot change any value of the user preset variables (Timers, MI's) on the screen because ENTER key is not working. PLC model is M91-2-R1 installed 4 years ago. Anyone had this issue in the past? Is there any way to assign the function of ENTER key to another button?

Hi, I'm using Unitronics PLC JZ20-J-T40, and ZView SCADA. I have successfully downloaded my program into PLC, and tested communication via usb (Serial), and via Ethernet (MJ20-ET1). It's all working properly. Problem begins when i try to connect my PLC to scada PC. With USB everything is working normally, but it's not an option for me to work with usb connection. I want to work with Ethernet communication between PLC and SCADA. What should i do to make it work? Regards Nikola Ljubinkovic

Hello all, For my final theoretical project for my college course, I am required to build something which requires a PLC or a microcontroller. I have decided to build a portable PLC controlled rotiserrie machine. I haven't determined all the parts that I need for this project yet, but was wondering if someone can help me out figure out if its possible I belive that the Unitronics M91 PLC wll be suitable for this project. I will have a portable 12VDC supply (Car Booster Pack) to power the PLC. I require the PLC to: - Set/ Operate a (stepper or geard) motor to spin the spit in a clockwise and counterclock wise direction. - Set/ Operate a (stepper or geard) motor to raise and lower the spit. - Measure and display 2 anolog temperature sensor readings - Measure and display the speed from a tachogenerator - Contain programable "set time" operations - Contain display with time of day and other varibles. Can this be done? What limitations will I encounter? I would really appreicate some help Thank you

I'm a new user of Ladder Logic and M91 PLC's. I'm trying to debug a program I have uploaded off of an old PLC. I understand that in U90 there is no way to force input/output states. Considering this how can you check that your logic is correct? E.g. how can I check that a certain combination of inputs will cause a change of state or particular output? [i don't consider a red flow of logic sufficient, especially as I can only see it for the power on state.] Thanks

Hi Everybody I'm working on a project where i need a pulse sequence with a frequency of 1 kHz to 10 kHz to control a stepper motor with a drive which only needs 1 input I'm using a M91-T1-2 and i configured hardware the next way: And then i use the next ladder program to enable the output and to put the frequency's value: My question is: with this configuration i' should get 1 kHz in the output 0? or i need to do something else because i don't get any

Good Day Everybody Recently i acquired the plc-m91-2-T1 and i need it for an application where i use a shaft encoder with 2000 pulses per rev (PPR) At first i tried to add both of the channels (input 0 for channel 1 and input 2 for channel 2) as shown in my program (attached) and it almost made it well for one direction (it counted 1900 of 2000 pulses) so i thought it was the speed of the counter so i reduced the pulses to 250 with a FlipFlop JK Circuit. Any ideas or suggestions of how can i use the shaft encoder easier? Also i need it for both directions. Also i wanna know if there is any support in Spanish.
