  1. I am using a unitronics SM35-J-R20 and I need to connect to a Zebra GK420d printer. I can't seem to get my code to work and I'd love to send you a copy of my code but I don't see a place to upload pictures from my computer. Thanks for your help. Marcus Turpin
  2. Hello! I am trying to create a program that will extend a cylinder for 10 seconds with valve 1, retract after the 10s and have a running count of the cycle after it is retracted. While doing this, I want valve 2 to ‘dump' the air after valve 1 has been on for 5 seconds so there is no pneumatic force in the extend position after the initial 5 seconds of valve 1 opening. Is this possible? Any insights would be greatly appreciated! I am using VisiLogic to write my program and V130-33-T2 hardware. Please advise!
  3. Dear Network, I started a very small business and build a small filling machine myself - to fill some comestic products - and bought a V1210 and installed visilogic on my pc. I am almost finish with my installation / machine - and I will shortly mark all my eletric wires in the HW configuration. Firstly my plan was to start programming myself, but time is less to be familiar with visiologic, so I came to a conclusion - and call for help insted of learning this out. I need a Consultat contact for programming my PLC via Teamviewer together with me on Whatsapp / Weechat/ Skype - and ofcourse I will pay for hours / work for this job. Step one is to make the machine run simple. Step two is to plan - optimize this circles and program optimize. Eventhougt my cash is low - I hope someone can manage this... I now a lot of peolpe can ... Help desk from visiologic told me that I should try this out - it´s an easy job/thing and could be done from an other computer - I am not a specialist - but not dump ether ;-)... The machine is a conveyer - round table - filling pump - signal crimp head - linear electric pick and place - signal labelmachine with a 3 roller ...... there is about 10 optic sensors and 4 pneumatic pistons. Chinesse, India, are also welcome as long as English is spoken well and you are good working with visilogic / programming PLC ...;-) Hope someone find this little project fun... Please contact me on ff@vouvis.com Best Fredrik Fabian Denmark
  4. Hello all, I just recently began my job programming PLCs for a custom welding manufacturer, so there will be many different types of programs to brainstorm and create. I am VERY new to programming itself let alone Visilogic and PLCs in general, no past experience aside from a few linux classes before coming into this job(unrelated just my only programming experience prior). That being said, I'm learning ladder logic and Visilogic from the ground up and was hoping a few of you gurus could point me in the right direction to make my learning process a bit smoother than it'd be with just google and I. To familiarize myself and experiment with the program I am using a Unitronics v350-35-ta24(B) with the 4.3 O/S. Attached to my PLC are a few digital inputs and outputs as well as an analog input and output. I have watched all the webinars on the website 5 times through, even the ones I don't understand. It seems there is a void in tutorials between the basic introductory buttons/timers videos and the complicated vectors, strings, etc. I have somebody nearby to tell me how to do what I want, but the resources to teach myself and learn in my own way seem to be lacking somewhat unless I am missing the right videos somewhere on the internet, though I have searched far and wide, to infinity and beyond, etc. At this point I can do the basics as far as buttons, jumps, timers are concerned, my only confusion with contacts at this point is how to incorporate inverted contacts/coils smoothly which I feel will come as I design my programs and find my pace. My purpose of this post was to collect as much research material as possible that I may not know of yet, any relevant videos or forums/posts/documents about ladder logic, programming, or specific Visilogic that would help me better understand the language I am attempting to teach myself. The software is very easy to understand and work with, as well as the videos/forums that I have found so far; and you all do a great job at responding to questions on here. If anything comes to mind that might help a toddler in the Visilogic world mature a little bit it would be greatly appreciated. At this point I am really trying to master using contacts in sequence to perform AND statements, using them "stacked"(for lack of better term) as OR statements, and trying to master my motor and PID instincts. I know this is a vague request and nothing exactly specific, but any examples of simple old code you may have from when you were learning or from simple programs you had to do, websites you refer to in order to refresh your memory or thought process, or ANYTHING informational about basic Visilogic and/or programming would be greatly appreciated. Hope you all have a great weekend, Derek Godown
  5. Greetings! Several days ago we installed a new vision 230 pls. Earlier we have the same pls but unfortunately because some technical issue we need to install a new one. So finally we install it, load a old program from previous pls and unfortunately we have some problems. Our pls read the data from electrical and water meters and then send it to e-mail at end of the month. Since we installed a new pls some of the data are missing for example: Flat Cold Hot 01 115.258 0.000 02 59.079 49.297 03 235.354 0.000 04 0.000 0.000 05 153.646 90.032 Tthis zero is not correct data reading. And finally it won't send us data to e-mail . Have you some ideas why on the same plc and with the same program we have this problems. if you need additional info please ask! program is attached. 16.vlp
  6. Dear support and forum members, My name is Robin from the Netherlands, and my boss gave me the ambitious opportunity to program a seemingly easy wood-sanding machine. For this project we bought a Vision130 (V130-33-R34) The machine has: -A conveyor belt for transporting a wooden board, with frequency regulator for the speed. -A safety door lock. (Machine should only be operational when this door is locked) -4 motorized, rotating sanding brushes (2 of these brushes have frequency regulators for the speed.) -4 motorized height adjustments for the sanding rolls (with encoders). -Thermal protection. -The standard buttons like: main switch, emergency stop button, start / stop button, and also an electronic stop. As I'm completely new to ladder programming, I'm struggling with some issues already. I'm familiar to programming languages such as C#, C++, SQL and I know a little Structured Text. I need to address Memory Integers to some states of the machine (so I can 'use' the output of the last line as a condition (input) for the next line. I chose not to use a Memory Bit, so I can address multiple states. In the file that I enclosed in this post, there is the program as far as I could get it to this point. I do understand many of the logic that comes with this machine, however my background is software engineering with no knowledge of PLC's or electronic components. I find it difficult to understand some of the tutorials and manuals that I have read so far. Hopefully there is a smart guy or girl who can help me with this. Regards, Robin Schuurmachine PLC Ladder.vlp
  7. Hi I have a question about ladder programming (in visilogic): MI1 is coming from a keypad entry, the value range is 0-100. MI2 is coming from an analog input, and is already scaled to the range 0-100. How can i force MI1 to #0 if MI2<20. The MI1 should not be changable by the keypad when MI2<20. Sorry for such a easy and maby silly question. -- IanM
