Hello, In my program I receive a length of vectors on MI120 - MI143. When I use ASCII string to display all the vector in one line on the HMI, I only get the first character which is inside MI120, even when the length is very long. When I put RTC to vector, it is possible to display it with the samen function. So for example: MI120 a MI121 b MI122 c I want to see: abc, but I only get a. How can I solve this? Thanks!
While using the vector store function, the data will not be stored into any vector if the offset is zero. Is this working as intended? Doesn't seem to make sense that you can't index into the vector that is your starting address. Anyone else experience this and have a work around? Running V570 9.8.2 Attached is a snippet of the code where I am having the issue. The first function is checking that we're in the correct state of our state machine, the second is verifying that data is being sent. From there I take the vector of inputs and store the data in a temporary MI then attempt to store it into a vector of MI's with the start address of MI200 and the offset has been calculated in previous nets. When non-zero, it functions great. When the offset is 1, it stores the data into MI201 as expected. If the offset is zero, no data is stored into MI200 and no other action that I can see happens.
Hello, My project involves filling a data table with real time data, and in order to progress through the experiment it needs to read the last 100 values recorded, sort them, and then get the resultant range. So I only need to read the last 100 values of the column I am currently fillling up during the program, but I only see a function that copies the entire row to a vector. This wouldn't work as the column has more numbers than the MI memory has operands. Is there any way to only put part of a column into a vector? Thanks in advance!
alemberskiy posted a topic in Vision & Samba PLC + HMI Controllers & VisiLogic SoftwareI'm new to PLC, please excuse my amateur question: In J1939 Configuration Parameters, "Transmit PGN" tab, first parameter is 'Data Pointer'. Description is as follows: "This is the start of the vector that contains the data that will be transmitted from the PLC." How exactly does this work? How do i change the data i transmit? Thank you.
