MVP 2014 Simon Posted March 4, 2012 MVP 2014 Report Share Posted March 4, 2012 Hello, Unfortunately Unitronics PLCs don't support the SSI interface, so would not be able to read that encoder. Other options for absolute encoder would be CAN Open or direct parallel binary or Gray code. I have also seen Ethernet encoders. Unitronics can read these options.
