How to convert  a number to string ?

There are 2 options:

1) Use the Message Composer and then use Build Message

2) There is a UDFB that someone wrote, that does that.

If you download the UniLogic sample projects from our website:

http://www.unitronics.com/Downloads/Support/UniLogic/UniLogic%20Example%20Projects.zip

 

Then inside the zip file, there is a a directory called UDFB's, and inside it, there is a UDFB called Num to ASCII.ulle

 

Import that UDFB to your project, and call that function.

Hello,

I have problem with UDFB called Num to ASCII.ulle. I use it in my project, where i need convert number to ASCII and padding with zeroes.  The convert number to ASCII work well but the padding does not function correctly, when i configure padding (2) the function shoult return me some number and padding with zeroes but still fill place with space. I donť know where is problem.

Well, it partially works.

I put for example a length of 6 and padding 2 (pad with spaces), and I get it pad with 0's except for the most left character, which seem to be a space.

Is that what you are experiencing?
