ORSO2001
Dear All, I have to let a customer modify some timers by a numeric box on HMI. I know how to do it but my question is if the customer set 2, as seconds, in the numeric box, what I have to consider to store the right value?...multiply this for 1000 (milliseconds)...then at the end 2000 or what? thanks
Ofir
Hi, if you wish to enter a new value to a timer on the screen, you can use the Timer box element and not Numeric box. You can determine the format of the timer and then when the operator touch the timer it will open a keypad to enter the value and will show the format of each field. ORSO2001
Dear Ofir, thanks a lot...I see this option only now. I can consider this value as retained? regards
Ofir
Hi, You will need to take care to mark the timer as retained. (You can do it from the Timers tab)

NY_programguy
This post answers one of my questions but how can I set limits so the HMI entry can only be from 5-30? Or am I better off doing a "data entry box" where I can have limits built in?
