Unless something goes horribly wrong (like disconnecting the cable or powering down while updating) the data and PLC program will stay intact. But the question is, "Is it possible?" hotwires Posted October 10, 2017 Report Share Posted October 10, 2017 I've never lost a program during an OS update. If everything goes by the book, no worries. Anything can happen. Always have 3 backups of complex PLC program that took anything over a day to develop.
