wapcs
I have had a power surge go though a 10" Vision HMI and E1B I/O which killed them. Upon inspection I can see that it looks like the internal fuses have blown (See attached photos). Could someone let me know the fuse rating so that I can replace the fuses to see if that gets them going again?
wapcs
I tried putting some fuse wire across the terminals to test it but no joy.. Is it possible to get replacement card for these units or is it a toss away job? Card number: V1040-PS24W
Pavel_setnicar
I would improvise with one of 1A mper rating which should be enough . But before that you should check all diodes and supressors around because it is highly possible that at least one of them have path to the ground and hopefuly that is what saved your PLC from surge peak. DanT
Hi; Replacing the fuse may not cure the problem. Other internal damage is possible/probable. How old is the Unit? Unitronics Warranty is 2 years from Shipment from Unitronics. Contact Unitronics Support for a Case and RMA. ( Israel or US ) They will discuss and help you. Unitronics DOES NOT supply any repair parts or boards for their products. Dan
