Jared H Posted August 17, 2018 Report Share Posted August 17, 2018 Hello, I am trying to port a complete V430-J-R34 program to a Samba Series SM43-J-R20. I have the Main Module, subroutines, string libraries and recipes all transferred over via the appropriate Import/Export functions. What I am having trouble with is transferring/copying all the HMI Displays. Changing the Hardware Configuration and keeping the program is not allowed between different models. Is it possible to somehow manually transfer/copy the displays across models? We have 2 similar programs. The default V430 program includes a couple more outputs than what the Samba could provide. I have removed the outputs that were deemed unnecessary in order to use it on a Samba. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Probably the easiest thing to do is to open the V430 project, go to the first HMI screen, Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C, open the Samba project, go to the first HMI screen, Ctrl-V. Save & repeat for each screen. Jared H Posted August 21, 2018 Author Report Share Posted August 21, 2018 DOH! So originally I had tried the Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C and it did not work. I have a bad habit of closing down VisiLogic when switching to a different program, so the "clipboard" data is lost as well..... Problem solved by leaving VisiLogic open and switching programs.
