V700 Modbus/TCP communication problem with Lexium Mdrive motors

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm trying to use V700 as master and two lexium mdrive motors as clients through MODBUS/TCP. I set up the function blocks per example "V700_Modbus_TCP_master.vlp".  I can get the motors to connect with V700 but once i write modbus commands to motors i get no motion.  one of the examaples for requesting commad is mentioned below as modbus tcp commad for the motor to move at slew speed of 600000 micrsteps/sec.

Please take a look at the code and let me know what i'm doing wrong. Also please let me know if you need more information. Thank you in advance for the response.

In rung 9 try calling connect function over a transition contact. Also looks like you are connecting to 2 slaves simultaneously over the same socket, I think this won't work, you need to connect to first slave, run Modbus commands, disconnect, connect to second one, run Modbus for second one. Or use two sockets.

Tell us how it goes.
