A customer has requested an "Auto Start " feature controlled differently than what we currently offer. So I copied the old subroutine, pasted it into a new subroutine, renamed it and change the Timer and Memory Bits for this purpose. I created a new HMI for the subroutine, created the Touch "ON" & "OFF" buttons, linked those to the proper Memory Bits, created a Binary Text box and linked the variable to the proper Memory Bit. My problem is the Binary Text Box is not changing state. I have used the "Online Test" feature in Visilogic to watch what is going on in the subroutine and it is trying to change, but it will not locked into the "ON" state. What is going on! You could try cutting and pasting the non-functioning binary text box into a new application and posting that application here so we can see it, or possibly posting a screen shot of the configuration page of the binary text box...
