  1. Hi. We have temp / hum sensor, valve controller and damper controller with unitronics vfd connected to unistream plc. We have trouble with network if we read and write to the valve and vfd. If we only write it seems to be working but as soon as we read a value the we loose connection or control of the vfd. The modbus 485 comm port is added to the plc. It caanot be set up as vfd port then the other modbus units does not work. So the port is setup as modbus panel. All setting correct as we can write the freq of the drive as needed. It's only if you want to read as well write that problem start. Any ideas please.
  2. Hi. Thanks for answer. Scada is master. If scada comms lost plc and drives still have comms be it with short intermittent loss of comms. second or so. The program is on laptop in west africa. Client try to sort it out as we can't travel there to assist.
  3. Hi. We installed 3 x V570 plc's running on ethernet network. Also connected Indusoft scada system to system. Delta vsd run also on same network. All working fine and then sometimes comms to scada stops. Also comms to VSD's not constant. If comms to scada laptop fails we have to restart plc's to get comms again. Any suggestions or help will be appreciated
  4. Hi. Here is unistream and indusoft tags. io tags This is the analogs

Will modify today again and see what happens. When I tried 0x for the inputs and outputs it gives me different error messages again. Also the registers on the 3x was on 4x but did not want to work. The 2nd pic I attach is the settings of driver. If I make the 32 block size 64 as in other systems I loose the values as well. Is there something on the Unitronics side that I need to change? Thanks. If you can assist with teamviewer then maybe it can help. What other scada system do you use now instead of Indusoft. We build drying room for fresh fruits and use basically for temp logging and machine status with the scada. Thanks again for all assistance. Sitting in West Africa now with the installation so internet and things not that reliable. Rodger
  8. Hi Joe. Thanks for the reply. We have 1x setup in other systems for inputs, outputs and internal coils and it worked. I've changed the internal coils to 0x now and they work. But my inputs and outputs than is on 1x does not work. Still the same. Any ideas please. Thanks.
  11. Hi. I recently discovered that a client used a backup to sd card to restore to new factory he build. Can i protect my program to work on only specific plc or can the sd card be restored to any plc. Thanks
  12. Hi. Have 3 PID's with the same settings but 1 is not working the same. Valve closes too soon and never reach setpoint. Same settings and 32 parameters the same
  13. Hi. Hope someone can assist. Installed 8 v570 units at client. First tried ethernet, then canbus and then modbus. No luck. Sometimes plc loose comms with other plc's and sometimes some plc's loose comms with omron cx supervisor scada. Any assistance will be appreciated. Thanks. Rodger
  14. Hi. Thats easy. Use the step in range function. I've done it on my fruit dryers i build for the humidity. You just fill in the steps. Mine is 5 perc down every time condition met. Works like a charm. 2 or 3 rungs and you done.
