  1. I have it in the right port. The expansion port is used for my EX module. I have another Ethernet card. I will try it tomorrow. Thank you guys.
  2. Request timed out. packets: Sent =4, Received =0, Lost =4 (100% loss)
  3. Plugging it into a switch did not make it work either. I remember that last year I was able to connect to it by plugging the PLC into my home network and I was able to connect to it from my phone with the mobil app (only when I was home. As soon as I was out of my WiFi and my phone switched to att the remote app connection stopped). It really puzzles me because it should work. I've watched the tutorial videos on it and it should be simple. Card init then socket init and it should work. I've tried a couple different cables also.
  4. So PLC set with SB2 to IP 192.168.001.002 mask 255.255.255.000 GW 192.168.001.001 socket 0 port 20256 tcp slave the info screen on the V1210 shows same settings as I has set in the ladder socket 0 port20256 TCP Slave initialized & Not Connected protocol type Pcom status 2-TCP Listen Rx Tc 0 When I try to ping it command promt '192.168.001.002' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
  5. Thank you gents. We stepped into some sticky brown stuff today so I have to do it next week.
  6. Can't seem to figure it out. The pc is 200 ft away. It is a dedicated pc for collecting data from the PLC No network access. Thanks in advance!
  7. Time function was a no go. It shows 0:2E instead of 2:30 Joe's suggestion worked. I had to use leading spaces on the hour display otherwise it looks like this 2 :30
  8. Hi again. I am trying to figure out how to calculate off time. If I use SI31 I can display the current time. Every time the machine is running I have a TA timer counting up. I want to deduct 6 hours of the SI31 (production shift starts at 6:00am) but when I deduct 600 it will display as an MI eg. 7:15 will be 115. How can I display that it time as 1:15? Thanks in advance!
  9. Hi again. now that I can collect data from all my plcs, how can I send it to the production supervisors? I understand that the Vision V1210 can't send secure email. What other options are there other than using SD card a couple times/day? Thanks in advance!
  10. Thank you guys for all the help. My 1210s are up and running with UniCan.
  11. 200' feet from the V1210 to the first V130 then another 100' to the second V130.
  12. Thank you for the replies! After looking at a couple vebinars about UniCan I've realized that I have two V130 that need to send scale data (MI) to one V1210. Looking at the installation guides I can't find the wire gauge required. It only says shielded twisted pairs.
  13. Thank you. Looks like I have to sit down and figure this out. Luckily I have a couple v1210s to play with.
  14. I have a V130 with a scale. I need to display the weight of the scale (MI) on another plc (V1210). Is there an easy way to do this? The other PLC is 100-150 feet away and they need to see the weight of the V130 scale. Thanks in advance!
  15. Are you using the USB port. I found them unreliable. I have 14 Unitronics PLCs at work and the usb port on 3 of them stopped working. Bought a usb to serial converter and use the serial port for downloading. No more issues.
  16. The drum sequencer is great for this. You can make a bunch of different drums and call them as needed.
  17. Yes, it is photoshopped. Big part of the screen is empty and it would be nice to be able to move and resize the output window there. It would also be nice to upload at least 500kb files. The 160kb limit screams 1995.
  18. Have a 1 min timer start when you press a desired button on the home screen. When time expires and home screen is not loaded, set home screen.
  19. I use several rice lake SCT10 signal conditioners and I prefer them over the unitronics units because they have a display on them. I have them facing the operator who is loading the machines (they are on loadcells) and the analog 0-10V signal goes to the PLC to use for the logic. The SCT10 is $400 so it is a bit more than the unitronics unit.
