  1. Currently have an email in to support but figured I’d try here too. I have been experiencing the CPU Error message occasionally on a couple Unistream 15”. Customer says it’s happened 4x over a few months. It would be great to know why it happens but it seems pretty random. I was wondering what the sequence of operations is when it occurs. There are the three choices of reboot, ignore, or switch to run mode. What mode is it in when the message appears? I would assume stop mode but Pump still runs in my application. Is the Unistream awaiting a choice of the three options or will it eventually revert to stop mode after a certain time? All of my firmware is correct with the Unilogic software btw. The two units that have been exhibiting this error are using version 1.28.34 and 1.26
  2. Try going to project in the toolbar. Then options. Then try unchecking ping on discovery
  3. I do not allow user access to Uniapps. Long ago I inquired about guest access to Uniapps where certain selected functionalities could be allowed.
  4. I see that there is an email configurator widget to edit where emails get sent. How about a widget to configure e?mail account settings so a user can change configuration without reprogramming through Unilogic
  5. I would like to allow someone to edit their panel IP, subnet mask, default gateway and DNS through the HMI instead of UniApps. I provided IP address edit boxes on the HMI and linked them to the appropriate functions and unchecked the read only box. It doesn’t work, the addresses revert to the ones in UniApps. Am I missing something?
  6. I recently bought the gateway and want to know if anyone can recommend some type of Bacnet simulator to test it. Thx for any and all replies
  7. I had the same issue when I tried deleting. A reboot of the PLC cured it if I remember
  8. Is Wi-Fi still on the "to do" list?
  9. Is it possible on initiate a screenshot through ladder logic or is only possible through UniApps?
  10. Is there any way to change the status of bits in an indexed data table without using the data table editor in uniapps, online mode or the widget. I was hoping I could use the write to column function with 1 or 0 but it doesn't work.
  11. No, not my first project. I have not been grounding the 0V either but noticed the other day when testing my program with a 4-20 calibrator that my inputs were sweeping up and down, about 1/2 mA total. My calibrator output is rock solid since I checked it with a separate meter. When I grounded the 0V on the power supply the sweeping stopped and the input was rock solid. I guess its dependent on the bonding in the building the PLC is installed in and I should handle it on a case by case basis?
  12. Should I be grounding the power supply 0V. The wiring guidelines for the modules suggest that it should be earthed. I have seen many arguments for and against
  13. It was the first time I tried writing data tables over the internet.
  14. Correct. I could download the program and go online but when I tried to write the data tables it wouldn't connect
  15. Was able to load via recipe. Disregard
  16. I am connecting to a Unistream remotely via ports 22 and 3335. I can successfully download and go online but cant write data tables. Unilogic says it cant connect to the remote device. Run discovery
  17. I control a water flow process to GPM through a variable frequency drive on a pump. I also control water level at flow through the use of a control valve. I have found the auto tune results for both of these processes to be unusable. The auto tune values were extremely large for P, I and D similar to yours. I have manually tuned these processes and they perform very well with very different values. The flow process has a sample time=25, P=40, I=.6, D=.1 (note the decimals before 6 and 1). The water level process has a sample time of 100, P=20, I=1, D=0. I want my integral to wind up fast. Once your at setpoint most of the control output is all integral.
  18. That did the trick for me. Thanks Saragani!
  19. Yes I set up port forwarding for the VNC connection. In Unilogic I put in my WAN IP address that is static and have tried changing either/or/both port setting to the 5900-the default for my VNC connection. VNC works but I cant connect remotely in Unilogic.
  20. So I would have to forward ports to the defaults in Unilogic? Or can I change the port numbers to what is already forwarding the VNC connection? I guess need some detailed explanation of the online and downloading ports
  21. Is there a way to connect remotely to download or go online. The Unistream is running on my home network and the router has a static IP address. I have a functional VNC connection to the Unistream but cannot connect with Unilogic remotely to download or go online. My router is set up to forward the default VNC port 5900 to the Unistream. I tried playing with the port settings but still wont work. Is it possible to connect without being on the same network.
  22. I am trying to connect to a Unistream remotely to download or monitor online. Can someone please explain the "download/online" ports on the PLC communications screen as I cant connect remotely. I do have a working VNC connection to this PLC
  23. I obviously would store the control value to the appropriate output but also had a manual mode that would turn off "run pid" and store a user entered manual value into control value. In regards to the control value integral, if a user entered "0" for integral, the control value integral would have to "wind down". I wanted it immediately removed from the PID algorithm, just my preference I guess. I can probably use the force error integral? Is there a way to revert to the older Unilogic or downgrade the project to the old version. This project was finished and I was just loading the new firmware etc. Kind of a bummer to have to go backs and make changes now
  24. Just upgraded to latest Unilogic 1.13 Rev 9. After upgrading a project to the new Unilogic and trying to download, I got compilation errors of read only tags for PID Control Values and Control Value integral. Am I missing something easy or do I have to change my logic if these values are now read only?
  25. It would be nice if you could configure Uniapps guest to access read/write for specific functions in UniApps. In my case I would like to allow a user to copy data sampling files to a DOK but not access much else.
