I have a program on a V700 that is doing some data logging and FTP ing the data log to an external PC. I have to add '.CSV' to a string to create a file name.
I am using the Ins. to Str. FB. On the function block variable A (MI1670) contains the original string, variable B (MI1600) used to contain the code for '.CSV' but these numbers have been lost, variable C is set to #8 and variable D (MI1610) contains the final filename.
What numbers should go into MI1600 and MI1601 to give me .CSV at the end of the file name.
