  1. That could work but the gouge in it acts as if you're applying pressure to that spot and wont go.
  2. Basically we installed our newest machine and an operator killed the HMI screen USL-070-B05. Lead time for a new unit from the factory is 16-18 weeks. I was able to use a laptop and VNC viewer to access the HMI temporarily but it's not a great long term solution considering the lead time. Does anyone know whether I could possible use a tablet or something similar as a temporary solution by converting Ethernet from the PLC to USB-C into the tablet and a VNC viewer on the tablet? Alternatively does anybody have any knowledge on getting the HMI screen repaired? The display screen seems undamaged, along with the digitizer but the outside touch screen has a major gash in it. I've included pictures. Thanks!
  3. So my company makes high speed tube cutting machines, and we just finished building one using Unitronics PLC, and I wanted to add a few things. The client we built the machine for has 4 older tube cutting machines made by our company including one that is like 45 years old. Currently they don't really keep track of cuts daily and often have machines down for repair. We wanted to set up a dashboard that would allow the client to view data on the new machine such as number of cuts per hour/day. They new machine will cut around 5000 cuts an hour , when running, and the client was interested in tracking this. The program keeps a total cuts value but I'd like to keep an hourly counter that uploads to the cloud so the client can see visuals on the machines status. I'm not quite sure how to collect this data though. I'm checking Unitronics videos on youtube but not seeing a sample of doing something similar to this. I see there's a data sampling function but I'm not sure how to use it. If anyone could point me in the right direction for setting that up so I can create a dashboard widget of the data that would be awesome. Thanks!
  4. I added a "List of Images Variable" and linked 15 different images in it to 15 different alarm bits, each with its own rung and conditions and for some reason all of them are being forced on regardless of it's rung conditions. I can't even force them off. Anybody seen this before? I've included pictures
  5. I've got a similar issue and I'm trying to find a tutorial/video of connecting PLC to HMI for the first time but not seeming to find it. My HMI is USL-070-B05 and my PLC is USC-B5-R38. Any help would be awesome, thanks!
  6. In Unilogic when you divide a real number, say 7.0/3.0 it puts out 2.33333333. I understand using 7/3 = 2 and modulo function 7/3 will give you that 1 remainder, but there's no choice for easily getting the real decimal output, the whole number output and the remainder. This also doesn't work well when the remainder is greater than .5 and rounds up. In RSLOGIX500 when you divide a real number, say 11000.0/375.0 it saves 29.3333333 to one register, 29 to S:14 and 125 = (11000 - (29x375)) to S:13. Are there math registers in Unilogic like this or do I have to build a formula?
