  1. Problem solved. A bit unexpected, but apparently the larger VFD and smaller one does not require the same settings for termination. I moved the jumpers to OFF, to set termination and then the smaller VFD worked as well. With the larger model this change hasn't been required. Thanks for help and suggestions.
  2. It is still the initial problem - Both the VFD and the Motor is running - but it seems to be locked between 7.00 and 8.00 Hz The PLC program is asking for 20Hz, and I can see that the PLC is both transmitting and reciecing data - but the VFD output is not adjusting based on the PLC input.
  3. Thanks for bringing it down to my level. We have been using P00.00 = 0 - we always enter the motor parameters from the motor information plate. I will try to test with P00.00 = 2 and what you described.
  4. The settings on the two VFDs are the same. Still it works if we change to the larger model, without any changes. Small VFD Model: UMI-0022EE - B1 2,2 kW Normal VFD model: UMI-0040EE - B1 4kW
  5. Hi Kratmel, Thanks for the answer. I am a bit in doubt where to change the mode, I have been looking but can not find it. Do you know the function code for the setting?
  6. I fear that you are right Cam. Thanks for the replies - It was new to me, that there was a fuse there - might be usefull in other scenarioes I will try to return the two PLCs, hopefully the can figure out what happend.
  7. The fuse seems to be fine, I tested it, and there is connection between the two metal parts The screens are all black, I don't even get the usual startup text on the screens Also, I can not connect with patch cable, seems like there is no power to that communication port.
  8. Hi, We have been using the larger version of UMI-B1 EU Series with great succes, and now we are trying to use the smaller version, but we are having some trouble with the frequency, not corresponding to the value sent from the PLC. (V350-J-TA24) communication RS485, baud rate 19200, no parity check. PLC jumper is set to RS485 communication. I can see that the PLC is both recieving and transmitting data, and we are able to start and stop our Unit with the signal. When we turn on the Unit, and need to increase the frequency, then it just settles between 7-8Hz on the VFD. I can see from VisiLogic that the value the PLC requests is higher, but still the frequency on the small VFD stays between 7 and 8Hz. Max is set to 80.00Hz Excact same setup works with the larger version of the VFD, so I assume that we either made a mistake with the wires or it is some setting on the small VFD that has not been set. I have been through the settings many times, and the small VFD is set to the same settings as we have on the bigger one that is working. Anyone have any experience changing between the two models? More information can be provided, if needed Hope for some help, we are a bit stuck right now.
  9. Usually we connect wireless or with patch cable, but I can't reach them either way now. Looking for a USB cable to try that.
  10. Hi, Two of our Unitronics PLCs V350 seemingly died. For a while the PLCs have been running fine, but after a power outage the PLCs wont start again. The power connection is fine supplying 24V, but the PLCs do not start. When power is turned on, nothing at all happens at the screen. I fear they are out of reach. Is there anything I can do? is there some kind of hard reset or factory reset button? Any ideas are welcome.
  11. Thanks for answering so fast Ausman, sorry that my reply has been delayed till now. All in all my experience with SD-cards haven't been to good. I just don't find it stable/reliable. I have a setup with an internet connected router, a plc and a lot of data being stored from sensors. Is it possible to send the data directly to a server instead? The UniCloud solutions becomes a bit expensive, if you have many or frequent data points. 1) Not sure. 2) I do not see the Auto-recconnect tick, that you are talking about. 3) These are the connection settings - how long timeouts would you recommed? Timeout was set to one second in the communication with the router - increased it to 3 - seems to be a bit more stable. 4) Sadly I didn't see anything in the screen-recording - except the « Cannot communicate with the specified UnitID » . Cheers, Jacob Bauer
  12. Hi, I am having the same problem. I connect to the PLC and start downloading data, but within 5-10 minutes I receive the error message: « Cannot communicate with the specified UnitID » Using a V350-J-TA24 PLC and a VPN connection from UniCloud. To reconnect I have to disconnect the VPN from UniCloud and connect again. And then the port will change from 20256 to 20257 - or the other way around. The file I need to get will take around 30 minutes to download this way, but it is impossible, when I get disconnected every 10th minute. Is it possible to increase download speeds? Is is possible to keep a stable connection? Any help would be much appreciated. Jacob Bauer
