Hello! First of all let me say that I am a beginner with unitronics PLCs but so far I am quite happy with them! Now, about the topic. I have programmed a Vision 430 to send E-mails and would like to add some information on the content of the e-mail. This is easy using the "indirect mail content" option, however I need to build the text depending on different cases, so I am trying to use a section of MI's to do so. However when the a-mail arrives all the text apears to be in the same line. I tryed inserting a String with a Line Feed in the MI's linked to the mail content but it doesn -
Greetings! Several days ago we installed a new vision 230 pls. Earlier we have the same pls but unfortunately because some technical issue we need to install a new one. So finally we install it, load a old program from previous pls and unfortunately we have some problems. Our pls read the data from electrical and water meters and then send it to e-mail at end of the month. Since we installed a new pls some of the data are missing for example: Flat Cold Hot 01 115.258 0.000 02 59.079 49.297 03 235.354 0.000 04 0.000 0.000 05 153.646 90.032 Tthis zero is not correct data reading. Hello! Another one topic about PLC/E-mail, unfortunately, I'm not able to copy with the problem... I use the ladder from Example (of course). I setted up PLC's IP, mask and gateway. Firstly, I wrote "telnet pop.gmail.com 25" in CMD to see the protocol type used by the e-mail server - ESMTP. After that I dial the text "ping pop.gmail.com" to see the IP address of the server. I changed a setting in "TCP/IP-Tcp Connect" block. The "Remote IP" inside the block is equal to IP address of the server. The last change is in "E-Mail" block. "From:" e-mail is "support@unitronics.com" and "To:" e-mai -
Hello! Another one topic PLC/E-mail. Unfortunately, I'm not able to copy with the problems. I use the ladder from Example (of course). The first change that I make in the ladder is IP in "TCP/IP - Tcp connect" block. The new IP is the same as IP address of the server. The second change is in the "E-mail" block. Dear all, I have a strange problem with sending out txt files from an SD card (vision 1040, connection via ethernet to SMTP server): We are writing data into a txt file on an SD card that should then be send out once per week (day....) by mail. This is in principle working fine, has been tested and found to be working. We still get the mails, but with two attachments: the txt file that should be send is empty an extra txt file called "Attachment Validity.txt" is attached with the following content "1) WEEK.txt X ", where WEEK.txt is the name of the original txt file. Instead of buying the hardware to send text messages from the PLC V1210, I tried to be clever and just send out an e-mail to my e-mail account and then have my e-mail account forward it to my cell phone using the email to text format such as 1234567890@tmomail.net The problem is it will not forward my cell phone the e-mail. I have tested sending a regular e-mail to text message from my e-mail account to my cell phone by using the 1234567890@tmomail.net format and that works fine. When I send a regular e-mail to my e-mail account and have it auto forward to my cell it works. But when I send an
