  1. Hey guys, I'm new here and I need your help. I am struggling to adjust my protocol for my program. I have a V120-22-R1 which I want to connect to a display panel through rs485. I want to make my MI2 be shown on an LED display. I wrote my program and I'm at the stage of implementing the display's protocol. What does that exactly mean, how can I do it? Any help and examples are really appreciated!
  2. Hi guys.Tips to reduce cpu usage by HMIs and ladder functions in Unilogic (USP-104-B10)? I would appreciate it.
  3. Hello, I've recently acquired the UCR-ST-B8 router from Unitronics. The set-up was easy but it won't communicate with other devices. My goal is that the router is connected to a PLC through a direct ethernet cable and that the PLC can read the status of the router, effectivly making the router a slave of the PLC. I also want to recieve SMS messages on the router and the PLC to read those messages. *Note I did change the IP from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.0.1 With a cable in LAN 1 of the router and the other end in a laptop we can connect to the webUI. Here (Services-->Modbus) I've configured the router as a modbusTCP slave and did save the settings. After this I close the webUI and connect to the router using QModMaster (https://sourceforge.net/projects/qmodmaster/). With this program I should be able to read the registers of the router. (I know this works as I've used it before) But when I try to read the registers it doesn't get a return signal. After this I've tried it using a PLC. But I am not really familliar with the Unilogic enviroment so I'm having a bit of trouble setting it up. As stated earlyer I want to read the data from the router and recieve SMS messages from the router and read those using the PLC. Would I need to setup the router as a router or as a modem in the Unilogic enviroment? Further if I set it up as a router would I need to take extra steps to read out the UCR-ST-B8 or should I be able to read all the data immediately? So the questions I have are: How do I read out the router? What settings need to be configured. Is it possible to read the data using a PLC? I'm using a USC-B5-T24 and how would I do that. Should I use ModbusTCP or Modbus RTU rs485?
  4. Hello, I have this SM35-J-RA22 PLC and it has this error appearing on it, it was working before it got sent off with a program to a customer and then when switching on for the first time their end, this screen occurred. I've tried having a look through Forums but can't seem to find anything on how to fix this issue on a Samba> Can anyone help? Thanks
  5. Hello, I am relatively new to Unilogic and completely new to CANBUS, and I have a project that requires 2 encoders a single turn and a multi turn encoder. My struggle is with the software and how to generate the position values for the encoder onto the PLC, I have followed all the help guides etc and have uploaded the manufacturer EDS Files for the encoders, but I currently seem unable to get a reading onto the PLC HMI. And I cannot for the life of me figure out what I'm missing or have done wrong. Can anyone help or have any tutorial videos for if I'm missing anything in the Ladder logic or in the CANopen set up. Thanks
  6. Hello, I'm working on my final year project at universty. Topic is SCADA systems based on wonderware Intouch and Schneider PLC and I need help :D. Could anyone tell me how can I manage recepies? For example, I have to make a recepie that put one component in tank, than mix it for some time, and after that add second component in tank, so my recepie must contain time pause between adding compnent1 and component2. I couldn't find anything on yt, Google, or user manual, so can anyone help please. Thank you.

  9. Hello to all, I would ask for an advice about setup for stone cutting machine project. Machine cutts big stone boulders to 2-10 cm thick plates with required precision of 0 to +1-3 mm depending of thickness. Costumer has a problem with x -axis movement (this movement defines the thickness of plates), because it is not precise enough. The setup i have conatins: -Induction motor for x-axis movement, -VFD for induction motor, -Incremental encoder for traveled distance feedback hooked to PLC. -Vision PLC . I have a few projects with only PLC or VFD setup, but first of this kind, so i would ask someone with more experience for advice how to achive precise positioning depending the given target value by operator and best setup for this project . The possible problems are inertia (the X -axis holds big hydraulic cutting motor) and also the lowest acceleration and deceleration value that i can set at VFD is 0.1sec. Supouse that I have to lower the speed of motor movement depending how close to target value it gets to achieve precise stop. What is the best possible way to do it through ladder ( PTO or simple math functions)? Any kind of help will be appreciated, Best regards,
  10. Hi everyone, I am using SD card explorer in order to retrieve some files from the device Advantage Pro EL Lyophilizer from SP Scientific, to do so I am connecting to the device via LAN. TCP settings, PLC name, port number are all correct and I am able to check the connection. I use Unit ID 0 (direct) But after a certain time the "listing of files" stop and the following error message « Cannot communicate with the specified UnitID » is displaying. After this happen, it is impossible to communicate anymore with the device I have to unplug the ethernet cable and plug it again to be able to communicate with it. The same with Remote access, I can communicate with it for sometime, but after about 1-2 minutes of using it the same error message is displaying. Do you have any idea how to solve this problem? Thank you
  11. My requirement is to connect & operate 6 HMI individually (Without mirroring) with PLC and the 6 HMI screens should view from computer remotely. I Hope to do it with Mqtt protocol or via Modbus. Please can someone help me to try this cos I have done only one project using Unistream PLC with Mqtt protocol previously. Please see the attached draft design of the project.
  12. Hello everyone, My name is Dave Wilson, I own a small phone case company based in the UK. I have recently just invested into a new Sublimation machine that requires heat and vacuum pressure in order to create a personalise effect to one of our case types. I have purchased this machine and with no help from the supplier, struggled setting up and figuring out how to work the thing. All I do know is the machine is not heating up enough to complete the transfer process. To cut a long story short, I've been looking into this and realised it was programmed with a unitronics PLC. I need someone to help me figure out how to change temp control and vacuum pressure via the PLC? I have tried contacting the supplier several times with no avail. I understand you can insert a sd card to transfer the data table and adjust temps, when I do so it comes up with "password missing" and does not let me transfer any data except from hardware. I am a complete novice when it comes to this kind of thing and just need some help. I have navigated into system and seen the name Maurice as the programmer name. There is a Maurice118 on this forum which may just be a coincidence, but it would be nice to find out if it was him who programmed this machine. I'm thousands of pounds out of pocket and just need some help so I can feel like I havent been conned. Any help would be much appreciated. Kind Regards Dave
GRACIAS...
  14. Hello, I have some problems in getting out analog output from my JZ20-J-UA24. This is a PID controller, which heats, and cools a tank, and I want it to send out during the heat mode a voltage of 5V, and 0V during cooling. I did all the necessary hardware configurations, but I'm not getting any pulse out. Do you think anything is wrong with the code?
  15. Hello, I have JZ20-J-R16, and I want to read values from output 1 on labview, but I just have a problem in trying to do it. My PLC doesnt have an Ethernet port, I can just connect it by means of a USB, or com port to my PC. So if I wanted to read from this PLC on labview by means of RTU communication, can someone please give out an easy code to do that (to configure the PLC, and thus assign the addresses to each port)? And if I bought an external mode that contains an Ethernet port and connected it to my PLC, would I be then able to communicate by means of TCP through labview? I need help on this ASAP pleasee
  16. Hello! I have a problem with COM-ports on UniStream. After simplified configuration MODBUS on RS232 function COM-ports RS-232 modules UAC-02RS2 not activated. What is the problem?
  17. I created an EtherNet/IP adapter, 8 bytes in, 8 bytes out. In the ControlLogix PLC I created a Generic Ethernet Adapter node, 2 DINT in, 2 DINT out, and got an error '16#012a Connection Request Error: Invalid output application path' at the PLC. Then I changed PLC to Generic Ethernet Adapter node, 8 SINT in, 8 SINT out. Now I get '16#0114 Electronic Keying Mismatch: Electronic keying product code and/or vendor ID mismatch'. What would be your advice to establish a working EtherNet/IP connection between PLC and Unistream?
  18. 21. Hi everyone! Is there any way to set the PLC to RUN/STOP mode via ladder code? I want to have a button (it could be a physical one using one input) that once you press it, the PLC goes to STOP mode (every output turns off), and if you press it again the PLC goes to RUN mode and keeps on working like it was before stopping it. Thanks in advance, Gonzalo
