Hello Unitronics Community and Support, I hope everyone is doing well. I currently need to provide remote control within the new Unitronics V1040 PLC device using the Remote Operator program in the latest version for PC, Windows 10. Due to big company's strict security policies, regular users cannot run programs with administrative rights after IT administrators install and configure programs (with administrative rights). For daily operation and common user, security measures do not allow us to run the program with full rights and we have to use Remote Operator without these rights, but this is not possible. How can we resolve this situation please? Is any option to configure RO as admin and use without admin rights? Has anyone encountered this problem and found a solution? If this topic has already been discussed in another thread, I apologize for missing it and would appreciate a link. Thank you for taking the time to read my post and for any help you can provide. I am relatively new to the Unitronics world. I have a Samba SM70 with a small project. I have dowloaded and intalled the Remote operator app to my Android Phone. App works perfectly on the WiFi in my house, but once I shut down the Wifi card on the pnone (use only 4G) I get no-connection. There is likely a setting somewhere, which I have not done properly. Do I need to add something in my router?

I have a UCR-ST-B5-VE Router connected to visilogic plc. That works fine, I placed a Verizon sim card in the router and tested it at the workshop. It worked fine with Remote Operator. When I took this setup out in the field, all I keep receiving on the PC side of remote operator is that the UnitID is incorrect. On the router, I made the main WAN: the sim card - Interface name: Mobile (WAN), should it have a WAN Failover setup? Would you happen to know what went wrong, or how I could fix this issue. -
Hello I have a Samba PLC application, and have for the first time connected remotely to a Unitronics PLC via Remote Operator to demonstrate the functionality. I received a request to have a status flag or icon of some sort on the HMI screen to notify the local machine operator that there was an active Remote Operator connection. I looked in the System Bits but didn't seen anything that directly addressed this; similarly didn't see anything in the help files unless I'm just looking in the wrong spot because I don't know what to call it. thank you, Jeff

Hi all, I have successfully configured TCP/IP on my V700. I have assigned it an internal IP address, SubNet Mask and Gateway and can ping my PLC from my computer. I was able to successfully use Remote Operator and import my .URC file and all is good. I used the default 20256 port number. I have asked the IT department to port forward port number #20256 to my internal IP address of my PLC so that I can attempt to test the Remote Operator from the outside internet world. I have defined the external IP address in my favorites in the Remote Operator with port #20256 and I have used the same PLC name that I defined in the PLC. I gave myself at least a 20 second timeout and I still cant seem to connect to my PCL remotely (outside of my office) .. have I missed out on something ? Regards John

I had a question about the function keys in the remote operator app for android. Can they be somehow linked to the function keys on a PLC (vision 560). The function keys on our a plc are used to switch between different pages in program and i would like to have the same ability when i use the app. When i use remote operator on my pc this is no problem so i hope same can be achieved with the android app.

When I connect remote operator with Vislogic (PLC program), I lost all details on display. Please check the attached picture. I run remote operator on different version of Windows (XP, Win7) on DELL notebooks. All failed. Any suggestion? I run it on one PC with Win7 (Chinese version), it is ok. it is better to send one email to me: rockysq@hotmail.com thanks

Hi... I launch Remote Operator as a Remote Application, i.e. an rdp Application as opposed to and rdp DeskTop. This is used by clients to access remote PLC via a 3G WAN. It all works well except for the effect of a slow speed network. I do set UR2 file to VNC Mode and I do have URC files in a cache directory. HMI >> Mouse>> to button Press is very fast but update of screen is VERY slow. I would like to know; How does Remote Operator choose correct URC for a particular site? They are all in a common directory however there does not appear to be a setting in the ur2 file to point to the urc. Is there any way of improving the slow response? Network Speed is typically 3 to 7 Mbps User.config is edited to point to a User Drive for ur2 files and set vnc mode however I cannot find a pointer for urc files. Thanks John

Hi I want to connect 2-3 Remote operator simultaneously to V350 plc. I tried it with socket 1 port 20256 but only one Remote operator gets conneted at a time.

Hi, Using Remote Opertator. I'am connecting to a v130 via LAN. TCP settings, PLC name, port nr are all correct. I use Unit ID 0 (direct) It did work in the past but now gives me: "cannot communicate with the PLC with specified UnitID!" Any ideas? I can connect to it via Remote Access with the same settings.

Hello! I have problems with downloading the application to one of our V230. Also It doesn't connect with Remote Operator (RO) program. Strange thing is that VisiLogic can do Online Test and then it shows all the online parameters and also remote access can be used during online test. The problem stands in both way, wether I try to download or connect with RO through ethernet or through RS232 (COM1). I was able to download the aplication short time after restart of PLC, but it ended also with some kind of error. Although the PLC seams to work fine and seams that the modified program was downloaded (despite of occured error), I'm not able to download again. I put the pictures of the error messages also here. Does anyone have a clue what can be wrong? Jan
