Hi, For personal use I'm using a V280-18-B20B with a V200-18-E1B. snap-in module. In order to register temperatures, I'm going to use a (third party) Pt100 I/O-module which communicates via MODBUS RTU. According to the documentation I would have to configure comm. port 2 of the V280, through jumper settings, for RS485 communication. And, again according the documentation, these jumpers must be present on the circuit board directly behind comm. port 1 and port 2. But unfortunately in my case there are no jumpers on my V280 to set comm. port 2 to RS485. Several questions popping up -

Hello, I'm just wondering what is the best way to log some informations. I will need following: Login/logout, battery low - switched to charging mode and so on. I will need to have separate display and the log should have time and thing that happened. It will probably have to be in table because it suppose to have "history" feature, like you can list back in time and see what happened. I've been searching for answers in help feature, but i still don't know how exactly do it. Any advices are greatly welcome! Sorry for my bad english. Best regards, Martin P. -
hi, I have a project and require communication between a ABB drive and V280 unitronics, where v280 is the master, anyone can help me or suggest how I start? thanks, pd. I have done this type of communication but with other brands, this brand only cut I made the flight program without communication inputs and outputs only analog and digital.
