So i have a customer that want to expand some of their existing sites with more IO and the posibility to operate everything from two locations. There is already a vision 1210 on site. Is there an easy way to add a mirrored plc (as screen only) on the new location and expand with more IO ? (need to be able to operate everything from either of the locations. they are 100m apart) -
Hi, I am new to using VisiLogic and have a V570 for my project. I am trying to understand how to integrate the sensor block with my project. I've previously only used this sensor blocks with AB PLCs. Is this possible with a V570? Does anyone have some experience doing this? I will be using Ethernet/IP to communicate between the controller and the sensor block, I am just unsure how to read/write values from individual ports/addresses on the sensor blocks. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! -
I am having problems getting any output or input from a V200-18-E4XB attached to a V570. I believe the wiring is correct and power is being supplied to all the appropriate places. I also believe the jumpers are set properly. AO to B, AI to A. SB 177 shows that the snap in module is installed and responds when the module is removed. The AI always shows 32767. When using a volt meter to measure output voltage of the AO, I never get more than a few mV not matter what values is written the to output register. I also tested a DO without success. Does the SAMBA support expansion IO? If so, does it use the RS232 port, and which modules are supported?
