When troubleshooting a subroutine or a region in Unilogic which has an MB or other register appearing several times in a ladder, I find myself scanning around a trying to recall everywhere that each tag is used and how it is used. To help make this process easier, I would like to suggest that there be an option where a temporary color can be applied to a tag so that everywhere it appears in the program, it has that color assigned to it. Perhaps if a user were to right click on a register in the ladder and then assign a color, it would color all instances. This way a user could scan down through a subroutine and see their MB's or registers highlighted the designated color and easily identify their tags without needing to read the tag or notes. When I think of it, we have region colors that we can assign, why not add teh ability to color tags as well?
Hello, Just a quick suggestion really in regards to the visuals of the sliders/trends. First (slider) ; when using ticks to identify points along the slider you cannot change the colour of the ticks, in my eyes the ticks should change with the label colour as you can see from my image the ticks basically become useless/unreadable. Just a quick and easy suggestion really. Secondly (trends); one of the only disappointing features for me has to be that the customisation of the trend display is so very limited, as you can see from my screenshot it's just a big white block and does not really fit in well with the rest of my program. Being able to edit/add/remove elements such as buttons, their colours and the trend background would be great, also why is there no zoom ability or option to hide different trend lines?
Hello, While programming UniCan Network I noticed that it is possible to erase all the data of other PLC. For instance, PLC with ID1 can send (random) data to PLC with ID2 and always change MI from 0 to 8000. This way all ID2 will be filled with unknown data and so PLC program will malfunction. This is security issue if anyone will get the access to UniCan cable. My suggestion is to make receiving buffer and do not allow changing PLC data directly. The concept could be similar to UDP data packet structure: Sender, Destination, Data. Of course, many users will have to rewrite their PLC programs, but I believe it would be great improvement. To have compatibility few last MI can be dedicated to network for those who want it. Thank you.
