  1. Hi, Where I find buit in alarm displays from VisiLogic Br. Rainer
  2. Hi, I try to build project with new V700 panel. Large display make possible to use large buttons and fonts visble for user without glasses . Application in V700 is disigned for users with age above 50. But alarm display in V700 has small font and little buttons. Stylus must be used. It is hard to use V700 alarm display without magnification or glasses. Is it possible to switch font or resize embedded to V700 alarm display buttons?
  3. I want to create an alarm list in my HMI. I have created the alarm group and it shows the alarm, but I don't want to access the List of alarms that Unitronics gives by default, I want to see a quick list in my HMI of active or unrecognized alarms using a List Text or some better alternative. If there is no way to display in your own list, I would like to know how to display the alarm list automatically when an alarm is activated. I am using a Unitronics V1040 in Visilogic 9.8.79 Sorry my language is Spanish and this was translated
  4. Hi, I would like to know if there is a way to cancel an active alarm screen with a ladder net instead of the ESC button on the alarm? i would like that the HMI returns to the previous active screen or a screen of my choosing after the alarm or alarms are no longer active. I could not find anything in help files concerning the alarm hmi screens so i hope someone else has an idea.
  5. In the Unilogic built in alarms, you can select an 'on delay' or 'off delay' timer. These are fixed values, hardcoded into the programme. It would be nice to be able to link these to timer structs so that you can adjust the alarm time from the HMI in a running programme. I am aware that you could just write ladder code that uses the timer struct, and then call a bit to trigger the alarm, but it would be much nicer to implement as above
  6. Hello, I'm doing a project where I have to save alarms to SD. I have a V570 with 2GB SD card (The SD Card is formatted with SD Card Suite). I set the SB352 (Write alarm history to SD) and it does that, it writes alarms directly to SD card. If I have some alarms in buffer (SI76 value is greater then 0) and I set SB352, the value in SI76 clears and ALARM.UAL is increasing in size. So I think the alarms are written to SD Card. The problem is when I use the FB "Show alarms" with "Alarm history" option. It shows the history, but after a PLC Init and Reset, the history is cleared. It shows the history from PLC Memory, not from SD Card. So, my question is how should I save alarms to SD and then display them? Thanks!
  7. I am using a Vision 1040 with the Alarm server, when the trigger bit for the alarm is active the scan time goes from 3ms to 104ms and the screen flickers and the unit is unresponsive. Once the trigger bit is cleared the scan time returns to normal. I'm using a set coil for the Alarm trigger, and have only programmed 1 alarm so far, need to do 24 more?? Does the Alarm use interrupts to check status bits?? Any help or suggestions please Vision version 9.7.0 O/S 3.8 Bin Lib 0.3.10 boot 2.2 Attached pic shows ladder, MB810 is alarm trigger
  8. Hello. I am building a program to drive an animated water fountain. I am having a problem with the builtin alarmserver that is available on my Vision 570. The way i have structured my program is this: I am using subroutines and datablocks to get a function block like functionality. However, this means my cycle scan time has reached 70ms. Next i am trying to configure the builtin alarm server. Just for testing, i added two alarms to group 0. Both trigger on value "1". Just as an experiment, on the positive edge of the "one or more alarms is pending" bit that is output by the alarm group function, i am displaying all alarm groups with the show groups FB. The problem that i am noticing is somehow linked to the scan time. Anyway, what happens is that when i trigger one of the alarm bits, the various outputs of the alarm group function (for example number of pending alarms) do not update. They remain at the previous values (0 since at plc start i have no errors). However, if i disable some nets from the main program and bring my cycle scan time down to under 20 msec, the outputs of the alarm group function work when i start triggering alarms. To me, this suggests that the alarm server does not run if the scan time exceeds a certain value, since the code for displaying the alarms is the same in both situations and only works in one. I have tried to find more documentation on this issue but was not able to. Another question would be, how do i change the watchdog timer value ? Is it even possible to change it ?
  9. Hi, I'm having some issues regarding alarm acknowledge on my V130. I have a couple of alarms I would like to be acknowledged by a button connected to an input, the input sets a MB which is choosen in each alarm config as "acknowledge bit". I thought that this would acknowledge the alarm just as the selected MB goes high, but it doesn't work. Instead, the "F2" button is the acknowledge button, in the plc-project the "F2" button isn't used anywhere regarding the alarms. Is this maybe some default that isn't possible to change? regards Anton
