I have been using Samba now for some years and some of them have started to loos data because of battery low. My question is, is it possible to replace the battery in Samba 3.5 and 4.3 versions with power on? I know it is possible in the 7" by just removing the back panel, but it doesn't look possible on the smaller one, is that the case?
Hi ! I just want to know if it's possible to replace a battery on a V570 without turn off the power ? Thx.
Hi All I purchased a new V1210 for a customer and have been developing a chunky bit of code to drive 64 pumps in various modes. The date time is becoming reset to 1st Jan '06 It also only happens on power cycle, not on reset or when downloading new code. I've checked all the obvious stuff: 1. Put in a new battery 2. Checked the battery status bit is fine (in fact I've built in a small piece of code that checks it if is set and the plc starts beeping and a battery icon flashes) until the user presesses confrm at which point I do a reset. Either I hadnt noticed or it has only started happening recently (about a month into development) - I reckon its the first option though; I have just started working on the shcedule bit that triggers on time so ony now am I paying attention to the time. Any thoughts anyone? Could I somehow be inadvertently triggering some state that resets the date/time? Many thanks Mal
Hi, I have purchased two Jazz R16 PLCs, and trying to reprogramm them to my needs, the only problem I have got is that after I switch power off, all the data saved in the PLC is gone or restored to defaults. Also while I am recompiling the programm and trying to download the program to PLC, I see the power up values - retain values grayed out. What should I do to enable it? I have opened the Jazz, and have seen the Letium battery on board, so I beleave it is good battery, also SB8 return a 0 value. How can it be that the values does not been saved?
