I’m reaching out because we have a problem with a USC-B5-B1 Unit that stopped functioning while being programmed, now it doesn't connect to PC ( Nether Via USB or Ethernet, the PC doesn't recognize it) or panel, we tried using a USB stick with firmware and a project to Upload it to the PLC but it didn't worked, now when the PLC boots, the RUN LED indicator just get solid orange and then it turns off the LED, any ideas how to solve it? Thanks in advance

Hi, For a test setup between my Laptop en a PLC i'm trying to configure an Ethernet connection. Easy peasy you would say. Well, apparently not. Init of the TCP/IP card and the socket (socket 1 in this case) is all successful. I made the following settings on de PLC: TCP/IP card init: IP address -> 192.168.0.1, subnetmask -> 255.255.255.0, Default gateway -> 192.168.0.254 Socket init: Socket 1, Protocol -> TCP, Port -> 20256, client/server -> client (master). My laptop's IP address is set to 192.168.0.10 When I ping the PLC from my laptop is this successful. The PLC is set als Master (intentionally). For testing I've also tried set the PLC to Slave. This had no positive result. I can't find the reason why the socket status will not switch to connected. Explanation for the attached picture. please read MB0 as SB2. MB0 is set on start up by SB2. When all initialization is done, MB0 will be reset. In advance, thanks for any help. Leyke

Whenever I try to connect with Samba (SM35-J-R20) via VisiLogic (9.7.9 Build2 OS Windows7 32 bit) i receive error 206 (Communication driver error), I/m unable even to get com parameters by connection->Communication &OS-->PLC Status I have tried Build in port as well as USB-rs232 converter, checked port nr, baud, fifo etc... Cable is fine - works perfectly on laptop with win XP. Following instructions concerning UAC did nothing, as well as running as administrator. Downloading new install file also didn't helped... Once in a while whole application crashes (Some infinite comm loop?). Is there any other options i could try?
