I have a medium sized program that runs without problems on its own. I was requested to have a video play on the HMI as a sort of screensaver. I added this by using a default bit in UniLogic called "General.Touched Bit" that goes high when the screen is touched. I used this to reset a 1 minute timer (see picture 1), this way the timer would reset back to 1 minute countdown every time the screen was touched. When the timer runs out a bit i named "Run Video" goes high which i then use in "Actions" to load a screen named Video (see picture 2 and 3). This screen consists of 2 elements. The video element taking up the full screen size and an invisible button over it. The video settings can be seen in picture 4. The button is used just to load last screen. This when tested works just as requested except if the video has been running for a while the whole HMI freezes. The PLC functions remain and the other processes still work, but the HMI is unusable until a forced reset by power loss is done. My setup can be seen in picture 5 and my HMI is the Unistream 7" Modular. If anyone knows what causes the HMI freeze when playing video a reply is much appreciated. I have considered the HMI heating up being the problem, but doesn't seem to be the case.

Hello, I'm using the USP-156-B10 with UniLogic version : 1.25.61. I have a problem with the MP3 player. I use the mpeg-4 video player and MP3 player on the screen. Start and stop buttons for play audiofile.mp3 via RCT Action. If I play video, simultaneous audio playback does not work. I accept, can't play 2 files at the same time from SD card. If I give a play video and then a stop video, the audio file will not be played. I have to give Play video and wait to be played to the end. Then audio file playing. Also, bit in TAG (System\Panel Events\Video Complete) is not setting on after pressing the video controls button StopVideo. Can you fix this error in the future? You could add the Audio Complete bit in (System\Panel Events\) also helps me. Thank you, Pista

Hi, I have a questions for send Video file attached to an e-mail. My PLC is UniStream 5” US5-B10-TR22 and the version software of Unilogic is 1.23.25 and I use modem GSM/GPRS for send the e-mail. The Email and Account is all correct, I can send without problem the e-mail with a file data in attachments like “name.csv”. Since I can not define in the attachments of the email the folder "video" of the SD I put the video in the folder "screenshots" for attach and send it (see image) When I send the mail I have the follow error: "Attach file error" this error is because for that folder is only for ".jpg" files? Renaming the extension of the video in "name-video.jpg" instead of "name-video.wmv" the email is sent correctly! By downloading the video on the PC and renaming it with the right extension (.wmv) I can open it correctly. In all the e-mails sended I have "Time Out", why? My question is: How can I send the video without modify the extension? (The UNISTREAM transfer the video in automatically from the external SD inside an IP-Cam by using FTP protocol communication)
