RobertiKo Posted August 1 Report Posted August 1 Hello everyone, I am new to working with Unitronics PLCs and I have encountered the problem that after downloading a simple program, the system tells me that the PLC is in stop mode, because there is no INFO Password. I have reviewed a previous post here in the forum, I have tried the same solution and it has not worked. Can you help me? The PLC is a V570 with an I/O module V200-18-E3XB, IDE version 9.9.1. Thank you very much.

MVP 2023 Joe Tauser Posted August 6 MVP 2023 Report Posted August 6 See this topic - This problem is going to be with us for a while as people take applications that were working perfectly fine and then update their software to 9.9.0 or above. Don't update your Visilogic if you're not a a network. Joe Ta.
MVP 2023 Ausman Posted August 6 MVP 2023 Report Posted August 6 Further to what Joe is saying, if you aren't on a net and can go back to the original version, you might have to delete/copy firmware info from the old version into the relevant folder in 9.9.1 to allow it to happen. When I needed to go backwards I had to do this rearranging. Once the firmware update (downdate?? ....back is not the opposite of up... 🙂) is complete and checks ok, uninstall 9.9.1, put your original Visilogic back in, and then download and burn your original vlp file. If you don't know the old version, use Project/Project Information to find what it is saved as. Or a good starting point is 9.8.65. Lastly look at this: https://forum.unitronics.com/topic/7245-dont-update-just-because-you-can/ cheers, Aus (It's amusing/good that Joe is now thanking himself in his signoff)
