Cara Bereck Levy
Hi people! As the Unitronics technical writer I need to install a lot of versions, including beta versions, and apparently confused and befuddled Windoze. One day I tried to install UniLogic, and I received the following message. >Uninstall of UniLogic. Please uninstall UniLogic from Add/Remove Programs and run this setup again.< However, UniLogic was not to be found in Add/Remove Programs. This was the fix: Download the file attached to this post"MsiZap.zip"MsiZap.zip Unzip it and copy the "MSIZap.exe" file to your C drive--make sure you put the .exe on the root drive! Run the command line ("cmd") as administrator Type the command "cd \" to get to the root directory C:\ Copy/paste and run the following command: "msizap T {83C5EAE0-FB24-4ACD-848A-9286B0DC30C1}" Copy/paste and run the following command: "msizap TWA! {83C5EAE0-FB24-4ACD-848A-9286B0DC30C1}" Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Unitronics\ , and if a directory called UniLogic exists, then delete it. Go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information. The "InstallShield Installation Information" directory is hidden. -Unhide it -Delete the contentsMsiZap.zip Restart your PC, and install UniLogic.
