I am new to Unitronics, but I have years of programming experience with Allen Bradley. This is my first attempt with Unitronics.

I have been tasked with completing a project that was started and abandoned about a year ago. I did not do the first attempt

I am wondering if anyone has a sample code that I could look at. I am trying to synchronize two motors that have encoders on them. The rollers on the two motors, are not the same diameter. So one motor must turn at a different speed. This system rolls flat Mylar  film into a tube and then is filled with a product. When it is rolled into a tube, heat rollers seal back of the tube. At the same time, the outfeed roller seals the bottom, cuts the last pouch from the roll, and seals the bottom of the next pouch.

All of the equipment is Unitronix, including the 15 inch HMI screen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

There is a difference of approx. 9% between the 2 rollers.  They ordered and panel mounted a USC-B5-B1 that has not be entered into the software yet.  I was told that it is a new synchronizing device that should make this easy to do.  So far I have not found much about this device.

Those functions are available if you're using Unitronics servos connected to the PLC over either the CANbus or EtherCAT.  They're under the Motion Control commands in UniLogic's ladder functions.

The -B1 has no local IO.  What other IO modules do you have to work with?

I will get a list of devices and post.  Not sure yet, since there is no BOM or prints on the project.  All built in house out of someone's head.  ☹️  I need to produce this information anyway for my own sanity so I have something to refer to.
