Why are there so many new versions of Unilogic?

Hello,

I would like to get feedback regarding this policy of updating the Unilogic version so frequently.
We have been using Unistream since the beginning (and the older ranges before that as well), and for just over a year now, you have decided to release updates every 3-4 months.

·         This sometimes involves "skipping" certain versions to avoid having a too disparate version park among our clients. Most updates are minor and generally just include the integration of a new product.

·         The I/O or URB/TCP cards that require a minimum firmware version. Sometimes this is not even mentioned on the box of the cards (e.g., URA-0800O cards).
This makes card replacements in after-sales service tedious, with firmware updates that do not always go smoothly. We are forced to have support on the phone to tell us that we need to update version by version because "some are more critical than others," with MAC address loss and total crash as a result. Of course, there is no communication about this...

·         Each version brings its own set of new bugs, and we spend our time debugging them with our supplier as an intermediary. We are not beta testers, but we must use recent versions because of the I/O cards or the bugs left here and there in each previous version.

All of this is becoming exhausting and is making us consider new solutions. What is your roadmap? Why are these changes happening? Will this continue for much longer?
Why so little communication on your part?

Thank you in advance to those who can provide answers.

this is EXTREMELY annoying for any company that has rules against employees doing their own software installations. I've had to bug them several times this week and it has cost us hours of time since the firmware updating on the plc/hmi takes quite a while. It also prevented me from doing an important program change before production started last week.
