Jake D Posted November 15 Report Posted November 15 Hello, I am working on a project that uses an encoder and a reset to repeat a process over and over again. However, the process is stopped by others from time to time. Therefore, wasting a ton of material in a one area and not covering the full desired area as they pass Infront of my output. What is the best way to stop an output while an encoder is stopped and resume when it starts moving again. Thanks
MVP 2023 Flex727 Posted November 15 MVP 2023 Report Posted November 15 Just off the top of my head, this is the way I would do it (in VisiLogic): Some modification might be needed depending on your logic that normally starts and stops the process.
Jake D Posted November 15 Author Report Posted November 15 Thanks, I will give it a shot and let you know.
MVP 2023 Flex727 Posted November 15 MVP 2023 Report Posted November 15 I'm curious if this is optimal or if there is a better way of doing this.

Jake D Posted November 18 Author Report Posted November 18 Worked great with a little fine tuning. Thanks for the help.
