J1939 Controller Memory Access

Has anyone worked with J1939 Memory access protocol? I need to place the controller on the vehicle in the diagnostic mode (write "1" to address "0"), then read another address continuously while some process is running. Some addresses might return data over transport protocol. Are there any functional blocks available to handle all that or is there any examples?

I also saw on the forum a mentioning of the document describing the J1939 functions - any idea which document is that?
