Wachedorf Absolute Encoder RS485

Hi;

 

Any one have experience working with a Wachendoef  WDGA 58B  Absolute Encoder Multi turn  transmitting data via RS485?

Here's the datasheet on the encoder-

It looks like it continually broadcasts data.  After you untwist your brain from reading the data frame structure you should be able to interface with it using a Protocol scan block.

Thanks for the Reference;

 

I have the V130 now reading the data properly and getting the encoder position.

 

Anyone done a   CRC-CCITT   X16 + X12 +X5 +1  ( Seed  0x1021 )   CRC subroutine?

 

There is an example of CRC calculation , but not for  this
