Can't start Visilogic UnUtGlb1 Error

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Since I moved to a new PC with Windows 8.1 FR, I regulary have to reinstall Visilogic that I can start it!

I get the following start error message : UnUtGlb1 Un compression Fail.

Impossible to continue!

I have to reinstall VisiLogicSetup_9_6_Build_00 again with run as Administrator.

I also allways start VisiLogic as Administrator.

What are the possible causes?

Many thanks in advance for any help.

Otto

Hello Otto,

Such error may occur due to Windows security/firewall changes.

Please consider to reinstall VisiLogic as follow:

Open the task manager and close VisiLogic.

Delete the file Current_OPLC.udb from: C:\Program Files\Unitronics\Unitronics VisiLogic_C\Data\DB

Follow the attached document to disable the UAC and run VisiLogic (Win 7)

If the problem still occur (Win7/8):

Backup you projects and delete all the files related to Unitronics installations.

·         Erase the “Unitronics VisiLogic_C”  folder  from- C:\Program Files\Unitronics

·         Erase the “Unitronics”  folder  from- C:\Program Files\Common Files.

·         Perform Windows update and restart the PC

·         Log-on as administrator

·         Save the setup file on your desktop and make sure that the installation file is not blocked (Right click on the file>Properties) If yes, just click on the unblock button:

Install VisiLogic.

If software opened properly, Go to the properties of VisiLogic shortcut and under compatibility ticked verify the Privilege Level “Run this program as an administrator”.

i hope it helps..
