Recommended Circuit Protection Devices

What is the recommended fuse or diode to include as circuit protection on IO-DI16 and IO-TO16?

I wouldn't worry about the DI16.  Put a reversed-biased 1N4007 across any inductive loads on the TO16.  You'll have to decide if you want to fuse the module's supply at 3A or fuse the individual outputs at 0.5A.
