Unable to connect to Samba controller

Hi,

I am unable to connect with serial to my Samba plc.

 

Had no problems before getting a new laptop last week, have the same usb serial converter as before, all the same settings and have the correct com port

Running on Win7.

What can be preventing me in connecting to the controller?

Please ensure you have the Prolific USB to Serial Driver installed  for your USB to Serial converter.  Also, is the com port you are using is the PC com port defined in your device manager?

If you already have this driver installed, please ensure the baud rate matches the controller's.  They should be set to 115200.
