Our training providers provided all the amazing stuff except a manual or reference document to use. There are a lot of assumptions that people should have some basic networking skills, but this is not always the case. What settings must be set and noted on the PLC and the same for the PC please? I refer to stuff like IP addresses, gateways, Ethernet paramaters on the PLC - INFO mode Ethernet paramaters on the PC - adapter settings Thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If so, just place in the ladder a TCP/IP Initialization block with an IP address that is on the same subnet as your PC and a PLC Name block with a name of your choosing. Select TCP/IP (Call) in the communications section of VisiLogic along with the IP address and PLC name you used in the function blocks. There is plenty of information in the Help file and there are several example projects that came with your VisiLogic installation that should be able to help you.
