Damian
It would be nice to have the ability in Visilogic to export the online values of the operands to an excel files. It would be even nicer if this feature also exported the Descriptions along with the values.
Stein Yair
You can use the Remote Access program to transfer the values of the operands into Excel file. Launch the Remote Access and choose the controller in question: Then open the Operand Access window: Choose Read All Values From PLC and follow instructions: Then click on Export all Values to Excel. The second way is to use an SD card. See the Help document for explanations, in Help >> Ladder >> SD Card Functions >> SD Card: Data to Excel. Specifically, my question is "why isn't this function built into Visilogic?".
MVP 2014 Simon Posted August 29, 2010 MVP 2014 Report Share Posted August 29, 2010 I believe I once posted some suggestions to the effect that it would be nice to have it as part of the upload/download options.Upload: option to bring back the live values and save them with the project. Nice for swapping out a faulty PLC.Download: allows the programmer to initialise values for the first time that need to change during the operation of the machine (so are no good for setting with power up values). External Moderators Nacho Posted August 31, 2010 External Moderators Report Share Posted August 31, 2010 It's a good point we talk about in the old forum. Today I have the remote access to do it but sometimes I am so lazy...
