Adrian Posted August 2, 2011 Report Share Posted August 2, 2011 Hi, I have a problem with JazzPLC, I can't download a program. I tried with different RS-232 configurations,but none works. The PLC is a JZ10-11-R31,and I try to connect the PLC and the PC with an MJ20-RS but it doesn't works. Then, Icheck the cables and connections and they are corrects. I hope youcan help me. The programming kit includes three parts. · The programming module that slides in the side of the Jazz, part # MJ20-PRG · The 6 conductor cable, part # MJ20-CB200 · The serial adapter with part # MJ10-22-CS10 http://www.unitronics.com/Data/Uploads/Jazz/MJ20-PRG_TECH-SPEC.pdf (baud rate 9600-7-even-1) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I used a USB to Serial Converter, and it had hadware problems, but i tried with other computer, and the PLC works nice. Thanks. Regards. Petros Posted October 14, 2011 Report Share Posted October 14, 2011 Hello everybody, It seems that the Jazz models are 'more demanding' on the USB to serial converter. I have been using a specific one for years with the M and Vision models without any problem, but I often get communication problems with the Jazz controllers.
