[Citect Scada numbering]

hello 

Just a quick question ?

trying to read a MI from V570 on to a Scada program

if you are in scada and want to read MI3  would that be labeled as 00003, (int) because MB3 is 0003. im just wanting to display a running value???

 

i have read the forum and the webinars .,just can get it to work??

 

any help would be great

Hi Joe

i have been trying to connect using one of the modbus drivers that comes with citect 7.3 . im not sure if its compatible with windows 8?

citect forum says it should be compatible, but it just wont connect. i think it must be something im not doing correctly.

can anybody help me .

I'm trying to set up comms between citect 7.3 and a Unitronics 570.

Do i have to run it between UniOPC and the HMI or can i connect direct..also what address would you label MI 2 for example when compared to MB 2..

I have looked at a great video file on the forum already,but im still getting an error on the Scada.

 

i can send a copy of my program if it helps??

Hi joe

 

At first i assumed the transducer was unstable, but after discussion with a lecturer and testing with a Druck it has been suggested turbulence is the problem. This is because of the setup of the rig is measuring Air flow.  i have fitted a baffle to counter act this and the output is still varying from 1.1 volt to 1.5 volts at a steady input flow . Can i place 2 filters before the  linearization and  would you expect this to work?

hi there

Just wanting some advice.

I have a pressure transducer fitted to a Venturi tube for my college project.

I  have a output range of 0.25 v to 4v output. Only problem being is the output is jumping all over the place, is there a method of using filters to stabilize the output so i can use p.i control.

Can anybody Help

 

i'm a student just starting to use the V570, 

and i have just a quick question

 

Can you set an MB to output a mA output to a control valve?

 

the set up consists of a pressure transducer which inputs a 0.25 - 4 volt input to the plc, then i wish to convert this input to produce an output of 4-20mA which operates a control valve.

 

I also have a maintenance screen which i want to operate the control valve  independently to the input.( i.e. press a button on the h.m.i and open the valve 25%,50%,75% and 100%) is this possible. Picture attached below.
